Dude. It was a bang bang play. And your above interpretation is also wrong

I guess my argument is if you can dissect the other parts of that review the way they did then why not that part? Like I said, I’m not even mad about it. It shouldn’t have come to that and Oklahoma has nobody but themselves to blame.

He threw himself between KSU and the ball purposefully in a bang bang play. It’s not ‘getting blocked into the ball.’
Still looks like the k-state player hit him before the ball did.

Still waiting to see if anyone agrees that it DEFINITELY hit off the right elbow of the OU player, you know, like the commentator stated with confidence multiple times

No. The ou guy is the one making contact. And yes. That makes a difference. Also, that rule is in place so that a member of the kicking team doesn’t drive a member of the receiving team under the ball on a long kick off or punt. It’s not for microsecond bang bang plays on an onside kick , especially when it’s the kicking team making the contact.
Not gonna sit here and listen to pedantic arguments about “well, the KSU player did touch him 1.4 nanoseconds before the ball got there”

I'd like to see a change to the rule.

If a defender of the onside kick initiates contact or impedes progress of a member of the kicking team, then the ball is live if that contacted/impeded member of the kicking team contacts the ball.

Well that’s what replay is for, right? So they can slow it down and dissect plays? We lost, never should’ve been in the situation where it comes down to an onside kick. :suds:

Not sure you know what pedantic means.
Someone quoting the text of the rule and trying to weave an argument from a hyper technical interpretation of it when it clearly doesn’t follow is being a pedant.

Which one?

The one in Ft. Worth?
Yes, dipshit. The thread was about how Texas was going to run away with it, and I was telling that moron that he was wrong. Learn to read

What van did you settle on?

I’m leaning towards the transit 250 medium roof over the ProMaster 2500 tall, the ProMaster has more cargo room but I’m a ford guy. I have had wore out 5 E250 and have not had any problems. I’ve read reviews on the ProMaster and some problems exists. So I’m in the thinking mode right now
