Cavs play Orlando tonight...we will see how bad they are. Should be somewhat healthy but they won't have Henson again, Delly, Zizic and Windler, the rookie.

Garland and Porter Jr. making their debuts, going to be short on big man. TT, Nance and Love will probably play big minutes.

Was really hoping the Lakers would get him. Dude doesn't care who you are. He was switching of on to Lebron and AD at times last night.

Heard about the other injuries you mentioned, but first I read about Delly missing the game. Not a huge deal, though matters some, at least early in the year to have a vet.

Only thing that can stop it would be a huge leap from Sexton and Garland being a stud as a rookie from the jump, combined with Love/TT staying healthy. Cannot see all that happening.

Depends on the rookies, if they are the real deal they might be better than a top 5 pick but that is expected with a very young team. If injuries pile on to that, they probably lock up a top 3 pick, record wise

I don't agree. At some point, what happened 50 years ago has very little to do with the quality of a franchise in the modern era.

I guess we will see if they are the real deal. Still think to compete they need to either pickup a great perimeter defender in the offseason or draft a defensive specialist kind of player. They don't have much defense on this team, they could be dangerous offensively though.

Ideally, they have a complete tankjob due to injuries (but the young guys look good) and get a top 1-3 pick. For me, realistically, I want them to either keep their pick and be top 10 lottery or make the playoffs and look like they are a piece away from a significant jump. Fringe playoff doesn't excite me. Guessing former more likely.

Really, what happened 5 years ago might not matter. Especially in lakers case. Few if any players/coaches left over and less Buss influence if I'm not mistaken.
