Play: TTU 2008, you know which one, cost us a natty berth.
Game: 2001 B12 CCG, Chrissy Simms’ FOUR turnovers I’m the FIRST HALF cost us a natty berth.
Season: 2009, one freak injury away from being the undisputed team of the decade.
Coach: Herman who will keep us at a B- average for about a decade

K-State was a monster that year too. I knew a lot of guys on the team and they all contend Bishop was trying to shave points in the CCG and it got out of hand... Snyder's best shot at a natty.

The Game is always Navy, 1984. Could have been playing for a natty. Yeah yeah, still woulda lost, but at least could have PLAYED in the Orange Bowl.

The Season could be any one of over a hundred, but that 0-11 season in Lou Holshtzsh first year was pretty low.

The Coach is a toss-up between What'sizname and Who'seewhat'sit.

(Sparky Woods and Brad Scott)

Don't use that stupid term.

Game: 2011 Natty AKA Jordan Jefferson Poker Night Aftermath
Season: 1992 we went 2-9 under Curley Hallman
Coach: Gerry DiNardo's 3 yards and a cloud of failure
That game is exactly why I love being an Auburn fan. We have lean years but when the magic strikes HOLY SHIT it does not disappoint.

It’s pretty damn awesome actually. Plus the we are “family” isn’t just a branding gimmick Auburn people live it.

Auburn is the only school I know, that with the exception of Terry Bowden, every former head coach is still living in Auburn. Even when they moved away every single one of them came back.

You know what nothing better than the present

Our last game
Our current season
Our current coach

What a pathetic, lifeless effort that was. Miserable job by both the players and coaching staff. From all kinds of creative play calling and explosiveness in the previous game to slam it up the middle over and over again against that shitty BYU run D and still somehow not able to get anywhere. How ironic that all the trick plays they ran with success absolutely buried us while we didn’t hardly run a single one. They had a 3rd string QB, 2nd string tailback, and four offensive linemen out and we still got owned against a team coming off of losses to Toledo and South Florida. Humiliating.

Game: BCS NCG against USC
Coach: Schnelly
Year: Boo's first year. Holy shit that was the roughest test of my fandom e.v.a.r.

**FASCINATING TRIVIA NUGGET**
My dad was Boo's first football coach. My big bro was the 2nd fastest kid on the team...Boo was fastest. Shortest, fattest and fastest. Boo played both ways in high school...FB and NG. Boo's senior ('80-'81?) year was the last year my hometown high school played for a Championship. He rushed for many yards. His family are great folks.

Iowa has only had 2 coaches in my lifetime so I'll abstain there .

Game- 2015 B10 title game. 30 seconds from the playoff. HM 2002 vs Iowa St- blown 17 pt halftime lead costs us a perfect season and maybe a bcscg

Season- 1999
Damned youngster. I've been alive for 5 coaches although I only remember 1 prior to Fry so we need to dump Bob Commings who was 18-37 between 1974-1978.

I agree with the 2015 game, but the one that hurts even more for me was the '85 Rose Bowl where Ronnie Harmon fumbled 4 times (after not fumbling the entire season) and we lost to UCLA 45-28.

1999 was horrible

Why do y'all call the Honorable John Blake, "Boo?"

I have actually been alive for 3 but only remember 2 lol. 85 is a great call as if iowa wins that game they likely win at least a share of a natty as they were ranked 4th pre bowl games and the top 3 teams all lost

Why do y'all call the Honorable John Blake, "Boo?"
"Coach Switzer told me to never burn any bridges, treat people right, learn football, don't just be around football, and if you have ideas and opinions don't be afraid to bring them up because your ideas might be the answer to something successful," Blake said. "I've always remembered that. " Nicknamed "Boo," shortened from "Boo Boo Bear" from his playing days at the University of Oklahoma, Blake, 33, is in his second season as the Dallas Cowboys' defensive line coach. Blake, who played junior high and high school football at Sand Springs, is considered one of the up-and-coming coaches in the NFL.

CUMstain. Ruined a stellar program and embarrassed my prestigious university on several levels.
The game is, of course, the CCG against Bama when the CUMstain alternately benched our best linemen in some kind of perverse justice for something.
