How we gonna hide the defense...…………?

Its not as good as we think...………..We are starting to give up big points.....
I tend to think part of it is cause the offense can not stay on the field long eough for them to get any rest, but damn,NOs offense has big time players out and we still camt stop them...….
for a defense that some claim that can carry us to the SB,the best ever and has had threads started.they suck...….

We cant blame injuries cause a few weeks ago everyone was saying look how deep our defense is when we beat up Washington...…..And the its just gonna get worse from here on out...…….

It's not just that the offense can't keep them off the field/rested. The offense never does anything to pick them up. We never get those positive ebbs and flows of momentum from that side of the team. It's always demoralizing whether it's a 3 and out, a turnover and/or never putting a TD on the scoreboard.

Nagy is shit. I have never seen a coach so opposed to running the goddamned ball. Pretty sure Montgomery touched the ball one time before his 3rd quarter fumble. In that span, Cohen had a run off tackle, Patterson had a pitch outside, and fucking Anthony Miller even had a carry,(that he fumbled). What in the wide world of sports is going on with this coach and his aversion to running the fucking ball with Montgomery!?

Trey Burton needs to go. I don't know wtf happened to this guy, but he just seems like a giant, gaping pussy.

Roquan Smith needs to sit. Don't know what his personal issues were, but they ain't resolved. He has been shit since his return.

Mack is being tripled, and NOBODY is stepping up. He has been a non-factor the last two games.

Leonard Floyd is a bust.

Trubisky is average af. Tons of skill, but cannot read and react. Still stares down Robinson on every play.

There are two players playing like they give a fuck...Allen Robinson and Danny Trevathan. Everybody else can get fucked.

understandable...……….

But we played an injury riddled offense yesterday and still can not get a fucking turnover with one damn sack...……..pathetic
Im thinking the def has as much to do with this team being dismal as the offense...…….

The defense was suppose to be talked about around the league and it has shown nothing...........

It's still a top 5 defense as far as I'm concerned. Every time a Bears D is good we're the next 85, but that's just all talk. A serviceable offense that didn't put our defense on the field for 2-3 extra drives per game and provided some more points would make a huge difference.

Our D is worrisome. Losing Hicks hurts a bunch, but our depth and great players at the other levels should be more than enough to field a great D still?

Roquan has been utter gutter swill the last two games, IMO. The Front 7 have been flat-dominated the last 2 games.

Has Eddie Jackson been involved in any plays at all this year? Fuller was getting worked over pretty bad yesterday, but with absolutely zero pressure from the front 7, there is only so much a DB can do against an elite wide receiver.

Very disappointed in the front 7. I think the Raiders cut-blocked to perfection(save for the multiple illegal chop blocks) and now they are thinking about that too much. They look like they're playing Patty Cake out there. Saints were doubling and tripling Mack consistently, and when they didn't, Ramzyck handled him. I watched multiple triple teams tho, and NOBODY else could manage shit one-on-one. Nor did I see shit for blitzes until late in the game.

I would honestly sit Roquan. With Kwiatkowski, you at least know his heart is in it. I have serious doubts with Smith right now.

I think we found the lynch pin of the defense, Hicks. Like posted above, he went down and the Defenses ability to stop the run went to hell. However, it's the entire Offense... The O line sucks, which means the Running Game sucks and the passing game as Trubs had little time, most of the game, to set his feet and survey the field. He had to stare down Robinson, because he had no time to move his eyes a different way. This is particularly bad because of the draft capital the Bears have spent on the O line, they have a couple of high draft picks sitting there doing jack, Whitehair and Daniels which goes along with Leno having a sub par year. It is pretty bad when Massie is your best, most consistent lineman.

I think we found the lynch pin of the defense, Hicks.
For the record, Hicks missed the Vikings game yet the defense only allowed 222 total yards and 6 points.

The more the offense is OFF the field the more it will take it's toll on the defense. Time of possession will be the enemy.

O'Donnell saved us 5 points by knocking the blocked punt out of the endzone. At least someone is thinking out there.
