We Suck!

I have been a fan for a very long time and seen some really bad seasons. Last night after the Int in the 4th I changed the channel. This is something I usually do not do. I watch most games to the end no matter how bleak it is. I am watching a team with not heart!

There is so much wrong I don't even know where to start to try and fix things. I think it is time to see if some of our young talent is hungry and will play motivated football. Sad thing is I don't think they could do worse! After this year it is time to purge this team and get younger.

I don't care if we go 3-13 as long as I see effort on field. I have always said I don't mind getting beaten but I hate losing!

Not going to lie I have never ever turned this team off, last night I turned them off right before half time!

It's an embarrassment, that a professional team would come out and play like that.

I would say tear it down and rebuild it, but nobody is going to give up draft picks for over priced injured vets....

On top of that I beat they let Howard walk during the offseason which would be a huge mistake

There seems to be something going on behind closed doors and in the locker room. It's not something that just happened overnight. I'm still curious about this anomynous player who spoke out to a reporter in regard to Wentz the other day? My money it's Agolor and Doug is keeping it under raps. This team is definitely fallen rock bottom. Cutting Zach Brown was just the beginning. Nelly will be next imo. Only one team is making the playoffs in this division and it won't be us with our upcoming schedule.

My fear is that Pederson == Reid and that Reich was the force that took Pederson away from the Reid tendencies.

Now we're stuck with Reid-lite.

For as much praise he gets he also needs to take some of the blame as noted in the article

I'm curious - which young talent are you talking about?

Dillard? He could turn into a good lineman but so far he seems overmatched - maybe he just needs playing time experience under his belt

Arcega-Whiteside? Is he even on the team?

Sanders? I like what I see from him at times but clearly Howard (who can be considered young talent at 24) should get the bulk of the playing time

Goedart gets regular playing time. Is it time to explore the possibility of trading Ertz? He hasn't been that productive this year - maybe blame Wentz or having to keep Ertz into block but it is also on Ertz too - he needs to find ways to get open. I'm sure teams plan on getting extra coverage on Kelce but he still manages to have many productive and disruptive games - Ertz needs to do the same

I think we have seen enough of Maddox, Douglas, and Jones

Outside of Dillard and Sanders there is not a lot of "young" talent on this team that I get excited about and those two have question marks on their backs

Well I'll throw Howard in there as the best of the bunch but I was mainly thinking of young talent that Eagles drafted

I've turned off plenty of games. Last night was a bad game, but quit acting like this team is somehow worse than the end of the Andy Reid era, the last two seasons under Ray Rhodes, and so forth.

Teams have bad games. Injured teams with thin depth are particularly susceptible to them. Right now, we're injured at positions we can't really afford the drop-off (DT, LT, speed WR, CB). I don't know if they can turn it around quick enough, but Buffalo and Chicago are both winnable games, especially if Jackson can go.

I'd rate this as something close to the TO meltdown season, in terms of disappointment so far.

The problem with Ertz is not him or Wentz. It is with Pederson and that dumb fuck he has as an OC Mike Groh. Teams are doubling Ertz. The are completely taking him out of the equation and forcing the Eagle to beat them in other ways. Simple defense to be honest. Take a way the teams best weapon if you can and you have the recipe to shut them down.

if someone was talking trash, i definitely see it being alshon. agholor has always been a team type guy, not really caring about his 2-3 catches per game. he only speaks of winning. ertz is targeted no matter what. that basically leaves the O-line, which has already talked, and jeffery. under foles he'd go deep, run mid in and out routes and haul everything in. under wentz he basically is the mediocre dump option when ertz is covered. can't imagine it's fun getting repeatedly smashed for 5 yard gains.

We have 3 receivers on the practice squad. At least call up Greg Ward and see what he can do. At this point our production couldn't be worse. Why not give Scott some carries because he probably can't do worse than 3.5 yards a carry we get from Sanders.

I like competition and if the starter isn't performing find a hungry young player and see if you get lucky. Even if you don't you may lite a fire under the starters a$$!

are you crazy? he's the one true receiver we have. his production was superb under foles. it's laughable under wentz.

They are not out of the playoff hunt yet but it looks like they'll have to win the division to make it. I don't see them catching Seattle or Minnesota for a wild card spot.
