Yeah.

I didn't watch. My parents are in town so we watched most of the OU game (dad is a squat fan) and went to the local apple orchard with the kids. I taped the game and stayed away from my phone so I could see it later. Apple orchard was great-weather was perfect and we had a blast. My 3 year old loves McDonalds so that was dinner. We got home and I had to check the score. We got beat and the final score looks like a blowout. I check ESPN updates and see how the 4th quarter went and yeah I'm not watching it.

The fanbase is really freaking out right now and I'm close to joining them. For a decade we were close to elite. But the last two seasons we are a.500 program and now are getting beat by lesser talented teams. Gundy is quickly turning into Pat Jones with a better haircut so people are really losing their shit. The last month hasn't been great.

Kids are fun, it's great to see my parents, and my weekend isn't ruined by a bunch of kids throwing the ball to the wrong kid so all is well. This is fun to watch but I learned a few years ago not to get too sucked up into how the alma mater is doing in sports.
