I couldn't watch the game but just reading the news and comments.
Flat out embarrassing.
Changes must be made.
I also pretty much gave up on signing Hall long term. It will take a miracle. Just deal him and get something in return.

Coaching staff is to blame.
But did the players just forget how to play the game and hold on to leads? With exception of Hughes, we got plenty of experience on this team. Everyone should be accountable.

Agree the 3 year extension was odd. This is not some hall of fame coach.
Either way, we don't care about that extension. That is management's fault for handing it out now they need to fix this situation.

Nico left in the first and never returned.... plus Green is out... Im not making excuses, they need to fire the coach now... its unraveling right in front of us... this is two games now where we blew a great lead... when they scored goal 2, I was like uh oh.... then when they scored again to make it 4-3, I knew we were gonna lose it... that's just sad... No confidence in this team right now, and the players don't even seem to be upset about it or play with any passion or desire... coach just looks dumbfounded on the bench.... Defense if beyond bad and we cant score at times and when we do, we cant hold any leads... I guess we need a 6 goal cushion, 4 just isn't enough based on these two games...

What adds to the misery, at least for me, this could be said for over the years/seasons... NOTHING changed with this defensive staff, bunch of morons!

The penalty kill was great last night, defense in general was significantly better, blocking shots, staying in position.

Gusev is really good, absolute steal.

Hughes gets a point, PK gets the empty netter. Much needed win.

The empty netter to hit the over was great! My 10yr old won some podcast 50/50 before the game from tickets someone left on their table. $40 and a rangers suck tshirt much to her ranger fan mother's dismay. :heh:

Watching this team collapse game after game with that emotionless slug behind the bench is making me sick. Should have at least 3 more wins, we blow leads it literally looks like Hynes doesn't give a shit, just stands there with same stupid ass look on his face and figures shuffling every line will solve it.

I'm not sure Hynes is doing anyone any good with his decisions and apparently practices.... we're not responding well enough nor are we employing a system that's giving other teams fitz...
