After pulling him late in the game -- it will be interesting to see if the Fins go back to Rosen at QB or stay with Fitzpatrick even though Fitzmagic predictably failed late vs Washington.

They certainly got close today - but they continued to shoot themselves on the foot at the most costly moments.

Going to be interesting to see what happens with Rosen who was pulled late.

Today more than in other games, it seems like he was purposely held back by the coaches and their play calling - the proof was in how, save for a few unnecessary long passes, more short and intermediate passes were called.

Considering the current scheme fits Rosen best - the coaches need to do a better job at putting him in a position to be successful as opposed to exposing him in very dangerous fashion.

To the scum bag who will celebrate this loss, the Fins still have the Steelers, Jets(twice), Colts , Browns, Giants and Bengals on schedule - along with the Cheatriots who, the refs will make sure they clinch the division by week 17 -- a win or two is still certainly possible and closer than ever.

Fitzpatrick predictably failed late? He led them to their only 2 touchdowns you moron. with a chance to win this dumb game.

You’re excuse making Rosen is just obnoxious at this point. Saying the coaches are calling better plays for Fitzpatrick than Rosen, are you kidding me? The plays are the same, Fitzpatrick can simply read the field and make the throws Rosen can’t. He doesn’t process fast enough to be a starting NFL QB.

0-5, everything is going to plan.

Fins are by far the worst team in the league. As the organization set this season up to be. Just accept it already.

Damn! I see you haven't had the balls to use that rope yet... I am sure you were clinging to it during the game when you saw the Dolphins had a chance -- I know its tough on you seeing them with a chance to be successful at any one moment.

Back to the matter at hand, I said he failed because the object of the game is to win - I give him props for giving the team life - but moral victories mean nothing. He came up short of the win - therefore he failed.

Again, you misinterpreted what I said simply because you don't agree with someone's viewpoint - you have serious problems. Please show me where I make an excuse for Rosen? Secondly, and actually more important, I don't make excuses for either QB nor do I criticize one harder than the other - as I like and support both - they both offer something different to the team - due to one's youth and the others experience.

I think you may have as much problems reading plays/an NFL game as you claim Rosen does. Anyone who watched the game knows the play calling was drastically different from the moment Fitzpatrick came in -- and its simply due to bad decision-making by the coaches. While Rosen may(obviously) not be at the level of Fitzpatrick at reading defenses at this point in his career -- he is certainly capable, and has the arm strength and quickness to get rid of the ball. Point is, the play calling was drastically for one QB over the other - an obvious effort to call the high percentage plays was made when Fitzpatrick was out there - while with Rosen, it seemed the longer the Dolphins kept themselves in the game - the worse the play calling got.

saying the play calling is better for Fitzpatrick than Rosen is the definition of making an excuse for Rosen. How you can make such a determination is mind boggling. All plays come down to decision making and execution. Not one play being better than another.

either way, I enjoyed my week not engaging in your nonsense and will go back to doing that. That top pick is just about locked up.

You can call it an excuse if you want, but anyone who watched the game knows thats just the reality of the situation.

Flores confirms what shouldn't need any confirmation - despite Fitzpatrick coming in late into the game last week, Josh Rosen will remain the guy for the Fins at QB unless there is an injury.

In non-Dolphins-QB news, Ryan Tannehill now the starter for the Titans after Mariota blows in another game.

Up in Tampa, the Bucs seem to be realizing the disaster that is Jameis Crab Legs Winston, and are going with their backup. I am sure they wish they could have Fitzpatrick right now.

In a sudden change, the Dolphins will instead go back to Fitzpatrick in this weekends game against the Bills.

As I have mentioned previously, even Rosen himself admits he is not processing the game fast enough...

The " Tank for Tua " sweepstakes took a hit last night -- particularly of the high-ankle sprain variety. An MRI to be done today to confirm injury and severity. "Tanking for Tua" just became even more stupid now.

How can he when he has milliseconds to make a play because the oline is so atrocious haha! Seriously we can't expect miracles from any QB this season especially a young guy like Rosen. Probably best to sit him for a while or they may ruin him. If they can get their protection bolstered then maybe put him back in if Fitz survives that long. Kilgore now out wow this is nuts...

Facts. But some idiots will say the benching of Rosen should be seen as an indictment on him - while giving a pass to Fitzpatrick for similar issues.

I stand by what I said earlier in the season, Rosen shouldve started the season as QB -- he certainly earned it in camp/practice and pre-season over Fitzpatrick. I am not saying this decision would've changed our fortunes this season, but you(the team) would have given him the fair and honest look you claimed to want to give him as the potential QB of the future before deciding what to do with your draft picks.

The right thing to have done was start him as he earned the right to - if, at that point he struggled - you have Fitzpatrick to fall back on. But, at least, - you would've given him a fair look/chance before passing judgment on him.

By taking this approach - you hurt the player, his development - and that of the team. Not to mention you are left with no answers about what you have in him going into the coming off-season/draft.

Hopefully he continues to learn from the sidelines, as well as in practice - and is back as the starter soon enough. In a season that the team views as a rebuild - the right thing to do is go with the young guy to develop him - and go from there.

On today's opponent, I am not surprised with the improvement and development of Jordan Philips with the Bills - he got a chance to get away from the inept coaching of Adam Gase, Matt Burke and the rest of that inept staff and he is now reaching his potential. All the talk about his lack of "motor" is not even a question anymore.

Wilkins elected on the second play of the game for throwing a punch. Disgraceful.

Nice play cal there by the Fins D to bring the pressure with everyone standing and moving around - unfortunately, they gifted the bills too many free yards to be able to get 3 points on the first drive.

Lets see if Fitzmagic has something for one of his former teams.

As you would expect the Dolphins to do with Fitzpatrick -- on the first play -- they attempt a stupid trick play that fails horribly.
