wow.... my first game to watch and wow..... like there was good parts but bad all around.

Defense is sh*tty AF, why has this not been addressed? we have good pieces for the most part.... Got to play faster and really use PK's ability... hate to see him wasted not joining in on the offense...

Hischier needs to be more impactful

Hall wasn't sharp IMO

Hynes isn't good still.

What are everyone's impressions on the players thus far after 4 games/losses?

I though Hall was okay last night... he had chances but could not finish... he had what, 3 breakaways and hit the post on one of them.... He usually makes those and wondering if he is still shacking off rust from not playing much last year. Hopefully he will get that scoring edge back... he was fun to watch... defense is a huge problem right now. Woods is woods, all speed and sometimes scores, most of the time doesn't.... Was hoping Suban and Simmons would of had more of an impact but so far not so much... its still early. I am hoping that once they get a win or two, it will improve....

Hall will eventually finish those chances. They all have to start finishing chances though, not just Hall or it will be another lottery season. Nico, Hughes, they all have had good looks and just have not finished them.

Agree defense is the problem but the entire team is to blame. Few seasons now, the team just does not know how to win games. Up 3-2 against the Oilers, I bet all of us were thinking that they would blow it.
Also, please don't have Zajac take key face offs anymore. Maybe just me but he always loses the important face off and again I think it was him who lost that face off in the zone for the tying goal.

Woods is inconsistent but they all are. What kills me with Woods is those dumb penalties he takes.

Hughes is fun to watch. He has to be careful with some of those careless passes which worked in the juniors but won't work in NHL though. I know they talk about how fast McDavid is. Hughes to me however is quicker laterally. You can see how he just freezes the defense. He will start figuring things out.

Don't think there's any way Shero can avoid firing Hynes at this piint and he needs to do it quick. Hynes is losing the team, if he hasn't completely lost them already

Beyond sad.... how many PP did we have a scored NOTHING? This team has way too much talent to be playing like this.... Fire the coach now.... save the season....

I honestly don't know how you hang on to Hynes at this point. There's blame to go around but team needs a shake up immediately.

This is amazingly bad... I believed in the hype, the moves were good IMO, the additions made sense... our offense should be flourishing right now...

Not surprised defensively we're bad cause we NEVER CHANGED THE FUCKING DEFENSIVE STAFF!!!! but surprisingly we're not getting better from our guys even in spite of.

this is not fair...

Hynes extension last season was unwarranted and insulting TBH... this staff shouldn't leave here as Devils' employees... no, enough is enough.

What has Hynes done to have this long of a leash? Quennville won 3 cups and got canned. Hynes is a first time head coach with a horrendous record. It's not like he's some prodigy or once in a generation coach you can't let walk

I can't recall if this ever happened - 6 starting games - all lost. What a shame with 3 #1 picks in this team. I'm sooo frustrated.

but noooo Quennville isn't good enough for Shero....

Same Quennville who at least is on the receiving end of a team that came back from 3 down to score 5 straight unanswered.... wonder what team that was...???? hmmmm
