I suspect @LGM will be the whistleblower in this forum.

So Spencer fields two punts inside the 10 - obviously not the way we teach the play here in the United States - but Spencer hasn't adjusted to the new latitude.

Fangio gets asked - why Spencer did that? He responds - 'Spencer was told not to do that.'

Legwold over at the Broncos beat ESPN - suggests this is an indication that Fangio is too loose on the discipline of the players (i.e. too nice a guy).

I tried to link the comment in this post and it has been taken down.

When you're 1-4 - your eccentricities begin to look like flaws. I agree though - Fangio doesn't operate like the Law Giver management type -- Fangio has more of an instinct to have the players love him than fear him.

In 1967 Bobby Anderson QB/RB for the CU Buffs - played in the opening game in Autzen stadium and won it. Last night I stayed up late and saw the Buffs get pummeled in old Autzen stadium - nothing worked for them. The BUffs are getting killed on defense and especially in the secondary.

Interesting theory. And hard to reconcile, given the reports that he's been too hard on Vonn, and they don't get along, etc...

Realistically the truth is somewhere in the middle, and the reports we get are trash from Legwold and others.

McMahon is not happy with Spencer in the regards that’s for sure. Add wadman plus side of the field punting
He routinely punts to the 15 when the 5 is the target

@ 4:50 into the video, Tom McMahon addresses Spencer's fielding of the ball inside the 10

From his intensity, I'd say Tom McMahon will have things straightened out

Since the Broncos pitched a shut out - Flacco's 40 yard bomb that hit Fant in the back of his neck was pretty funny.

It was pretty funny .. I sat there and said "Well, at least the throw was on target"

I like Josey Jewell, but there is no question Alexander Johnson has 2 or 3 times the impact on the game than Jewell has shown. I would not have predicted this. I don't think Josey Jewell even got a snap against the Titans.

Hopefully he turns out better than his brother Jerry Rice JR who was at UCLA.

You always get an extra star when you are a legends son. So, in reality. Brendon Rice is a 2 star guy.

He was a 4 star on Rivals - so 3, but it is also easy to see pedigree helps on the road to NFL jobs.

Ahh ok. So he is a 3 star. I think he did make a great decision though. Michigan at one time seemed to be a front runner. May have been hard to see the field there until later in his collegiate career. Colorado is a great decision, IMO. Set himself up for a chance to play and develop early on.

If recruiting most athletes means recruiting their mothers - I think Coach Mel Tucker shows himself to be a tremendous role model.

The BUffs are actually crowded at WR on the roster and with verbal commits - this is because Coach Chieverini is the top recruiter. Just this season the Buffs had to convert a QB to safety and 2 WRs to CB.
