2 is more concerning for me. 1 should take care of itself by getting Alshon, Goeddert, and Jackson back on the field. The DL doesn't have the reinforcements coming.

Well since you didn't put your starting QB and other out there during preseason, this game is basically a prime example of preseason game, piss poor player play, piss poor game management and of course my favorite piss poor management of personal ……..Why the kid from Penn ST is starting over Howard is total stupidity...

for what it's worth, the starting QB has thrown 2 game winning TDs in back to back losses, so there is that... so, i don't think the lack of preseason has hurt.

granted, the guys on the other end of those throws have to catch them, minor caveat...

I'm not blaming Carson at all, I believe his arm looks fantastic and so does his legs.

I blame the play selection and personal selection, I get it with this staff they have always been a little way to much mix it up to see what sticks on play calling...

I blame them picking a rookie runningback over a vet RB that is known for putting his head down and getting the extra yard.... Not a kid that has a habit of putting the ball on the ground and is one of the reasons you lost a game this year...

I don't mind them going Miles, as he seems good in pass protection and receiving. I don't get their love affair with Sproles. Hell, probably could have split out Miles and used Howard at RB this game.

I don’t get the sense that the Jags undeniable offer for Ramsey includes so many players. Certainly not Darby the walking infirmary.

It’s funny to me how we dump on the offense in these games. Sure, two fumbles and seven drops aren’t helping anyone out. But, the defense is the thing that continues to kill us.

On a day like today I think about the miraculous 2017 run. How we made that late season and playoffs run with this defense is perhaps the greatest miracle of them all.

True, but Carson is off target. He's also back to looking for Ertz on every playh. I love Wentz, but the elite QB's scan the whole field, not just looking for the same guy. We clearly miss Reich (who despite losing Luck, is winning with Brissett), and Defilipo.
