Ok, that is an exception. I actually had that a bunch of times. We used to get it for lunch sometimes at work downtown.
And it was just a joke. Dallas does have a few spots, though generally speaking, nothing on tacos compared to San Antonio, Austin, or Houston. San Antonio might be the mecca on this topic.

Other than BBQ or TexMex, I think you can get good versions of food just about anywhere. Internet reviews have gone a long way to find those hole in the wall joints though.

There is a new Fuel City out in the mid cities off 121/183 in Bedford (or Hurst, or Euless, or ft worth whatever). Haven't had their tacos but some group as the original in dallas.
