Why don’t we just abolish the draft and put players on whichever team they want? They give them new contracts whenever they want.

Isn’t that where we’re basically at anyways w these assholes?

I don't recall a time when it was any different. Every year there's always been a few hold-outs or trade requests. Even the 85 Bears were without two defensive starters the entire year, all the way through the Super Bowl due to hold-outs. Including all-pro safety Todd Bell. They sat out as they demanded their contract needs be met or that they be traded.

Yes I am aware this is not the first time a player has requested a trade. But it's becoming a weekly thing and it's getting worse.

AB (Twice)
The Dolphins
Taco
Ramsey

And we're only in week 2.

The NBA style NFL where winners want to play for winners. Impatience is rearing its ugly head.

Ramsey asking for a trade might be the least surprising thing of the NFL season so far. I figured he'd make it to week 4 though.

He will sign with the Raiders for an obscene amount of money then pull an AB and end up on the Pats for $1 million

hold outs have always happened, but forced trades has not.
No one from that era could ever force a trade. Teams literally owned their asses until the Freeman McNeil lawsuit.

Well, then there you go. There's a clear reason why...

I am feeling Eagles and 49ers.

I don't see SF....Sherman has been Sherman and A. Witherspoon has been playing exceptionally well...living up to his talent. They even have a 'healthy' Jason Verrett who has been a scratch. A lot would have to change next year for me to even begin to entertain the notion of having this asshole Ramsey on the Niners….

Tired of inmates running the asylum.

I'd bench his ass and tell the media, " Playing in the NFL is a privilege players that wish to abandon their teammates are not leaders or team players".

well, since the steelers gave the most for Minkah and they probably aren't contending this year, maybe the Bengals will grab Ramsey?

Ramsey has 1 cheap year, this year, before getting paid huge money. Massive difference. Apples and oranges even. Though Oakland has so much cap they might think it worthwhile I guess.
