I am not up to speed on those. I know this is some kind of special weekend across baseball, but I never read anything about why it is or what it is all about.
I can agree they were outplaying them. I like what Santana is doing but neither are that great on defense and I sure do not want them as our 1b for the future or our corner infielders. If one of them plays the IF then I would of course choose Santana. I was for Odor getting his act together because we had no one on the horizon at 2b until Solak came about so now I am good with him taking the position away. Guzman needs time to figure it out and be our 1b and his average keeps climbing at Nashville. This is about the future.
Cole would be nice but may be too expensive. They almost have to make some trades. Just to many needs to fill and do nothing.
He would be nice. He is 28 so should have some years left and has shown himself well in the AL. But ownership would have to open up their pockets. If you are going to spend money it might as well be on a top of the line pitcher.
Just what we need
Not for a few years. I think he is still 16 years old. By that time, most of our present OF will either be out of baseball or will have left in free agency.
