It isn't from everything I've seen, and won't be this year either. The 2020 one will most likely be but the XS and 11 will be fairly similar to the X.

I think the new 11 that will be releasing in September is basically getting a third camera and possibly reverse wireless charging plus probably the A13 chip (A12 is still probably the best on the market anyways). If you need a new one soon I would at least wait until the 11 dropped and the X and XS came down a few bucks though. They will both be dropping hundreds of $$$ in another month or so i imagine.

awesome thanks! actually my Iphone x is in flawless condition. But you just see all the deals and such, and with no contract carriers now, you never know when may be the time to jump ship. Like i said i recently jumped to sprint. Is the network the best? no. Is the coverage the best? NO. is the data the super fastest? NO. But TBH its perfectly acceptable for me. Ive used 8 gigs data in 10 days so i expect to use 30+ this month. and i got unlimited everything for 25 flat. THat rate will never change unless i leave sprint. I cant beat it.

Save your money and wait on the 2020 model unless they drop a surprise feature that's appealing to you at their announcement on Sept. 10th.

At this point there isn't really a use buying the latest and greatest, you should be able to get 3-4 years out of a top brand smart phone. Early on the advances year to year were noticeable. Now it's stuff like "even better resolution even though we are already beyond what the human eye can perceive" and gimmicks that few use. Can't remember the last time I used the AR function of my phone.

Whoever was talking about the Pixel 3 or what not you suck!! got it in my head then got the email from google to have 300 bucks off making the XL 600 each, now i have 2 new Pixel 3 XL's coming lmfao i swore i would never do it again, hopefully the wife has learned her lessons

I've loved mine. There's some minor RAM management issues (apps closing in the background) but nothing drastic. They really needed to put 6 gigs instead of 4. You'll get it just in time for the Android 10 update though and probably months before anyone else.

Don't get a super thick one if you want to use the wireless charging. I had problems with that on my first one. I got a thin clear case that i'm content with now.

Nah we have used wireless charging in the past, its a neat gimmick but totally not necessary

I took the time to switch over to some magnetic cords where the tip stays in so you dont jack up the port and i have those all over

already have Type C cuz like i said i got a chineese knockoff
