I remember running the numbers back in the early 2000's when he was worth upwards of $80 billion and figured that if he could cash out and invest that money at 10% he would have to spent just shy of $989,000 a day just to spend the interest. Like Brewster's Millions every day....and at the end of your life you are still worth $80+ billion.

What makes that even more astonishing is that he has given away more money than the richest person in the world has. Jeff Bezos is worth 131 Billion...Gates has given away over the years, 48% of all the Microsoft Stock...take his ownership percentage from just under 50% to just over 1%. The current market cap of that 48% is over $480 Billion. That's a figure that would put him with more than Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerburg, The Koch Brothers, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Phil Knight, Elon Musk and Steve Jobs' widow combined.

If you ever get to be a billionaire, there are worse ones to emulate than Gates.

Only because some of the SEC recruits might have trouble getting past the academics part of it.

My thoughts are every P5 league should play 8 conference games and every P5 team should schedule scrubs in their 4 OOC games . If 2 losses is a disqualifier for the playoffs and winning your league is not necessary then you're better off making your schedule as easy as possible

I would rather advocate for that than try and get everyone else on the same page.

This, everybody else needs to change what THEY do not get pissed off at the SEC ,ACC or anyone else.

Big12 needs to schedule 1 bad OOC P5 opponent early, 2 FCS teams or a lower level G5 team, 1 during October and 1 in November and let the chips fall where they may.

Unlike the southern teams that give about zero shits in regards to conference rivalries seeing how conference tradition means nothing south of the Mason - Dixon Line, the PAC teams don't want to give up those conference games.
