Disney, Marvel, and Pixar are all starting to blur together imo.

We just got Ms Marvel's intro story less than 2 years ago in Marvel's Avengers. Maybe that wasnt the biggest video game ever but another round so soon might seem a bit much for the hardcore Marvel people. I suspect most of the people watching the movie won't have played the video game, though.

Im definitely going to pass on this. She-Hulk could be cool, though. I could see Ms Marvel being really popular with a younger audience

it reaches out to a different part of their fanbase that they might not be getting all they can from, so I don't blame them doing what they are doing.

Disney wants to hit all the markets and right now there isn't a whole lot that will bring in the girls who were watching The Babysitters Club.

there is plenty of faux outrage.

the old white guys who care about comic books are furious because they just want tits and ass in their women superheroes, not some "political lesson"

so.. i watched the trailer... her powers looked weird at least from what i know about her... is her powers correct in the show??

Then again, maybe i dont know much about her... i know she is an avenger... i know she idolizes and originally masqueraded as Captain Marvel, and i know that she can extend her limbs... but that is about it...

actually kind of excited about this even though it is certainly not targeted to me...

I will watch it. I have only bailed on one MCU product so far (and that has since been “removed” from the main MCU universe, I think — Runaways). But I fully expect this to be really bad. It looks to be a typical Disney TV show where the 13 year old knows everything and just needs to be heard because no one has ever thought her thoughts before.

My biggest complaint though is her powers... seems like her powers are going to be from a magical bracelet... not the fact that she is an inhuman
