I'm pretty sure PE1 purchases multiple NFL mags. At least he touted a few of them last season.

I have tons from every year since 2000. I prefer the draft publications that I have different ones from every year since 2000 too. They are more fun to look back on and see how wrong they are on the stars who had low rankings. Let me find it. It’s around here somewhere. I do see my Athlon one and they predict KC over Chicago. With Dallas in 1st and Philly in 2nd and also has Dallas bearing Philly in the wild card round then losing to Chicago the next week.

You have a stack of old football mags for the last 20 years? You know you can look at digital copies of those on the computer, right?

Nicer to have in your hand for some reason. But you do have a point

One day I was looking at one of my book cases in my home library room, and noticed I had 24 years worth of FourFourTwo and WorldSoccer magazines piled up. Made my housekeeper put them all in plastic tubs and had them moved out to the storage barn/workshop.

Since then, I subscribe to the digital copies.

Well there’s a difference between predicting Dallas to win the division and saying the Eagles, Skins and Giants are all bad teams. Most everyone is predicting Philly to be a top 6 team in the entire league. I don’t remember saying you were wrong because I know the immense amount of talent Dallas has. I have no issue with you predicting Dallas to win the division yet again. My issue is you saying Philly is bad and Dallas will run away with the division
Fair enough, that's your opinion. I don't think Philly has a defense this year and is going to get steamrolled repeatedly.

Why is that. It’s the same D as before with a slight downgrade at DE and a slight upgrade at DT. I don’t know what we lead you to believe that? Nothing has changed?? Somehow the best DLine in the NFL getting steamrolled every week doesn’t sound objective

DLine is worse and your LBer tandem to start the season wouldn't be starters on most NFL teams.

If I remember they are down two starting LBs, right? That could hurt

While he is good, I don't think Maliek Jackson is as good as he is made out to be but I really like their DL. They just weren't as good as expected last year but I think they will be dominant this year

I think ultimately it all comes down to their CBs. If they get the same poor play they got last year I think they probably don't make the playoffs. If they get decent to pretty good CB play (but not great) I think they will make the playoffs. If they somehow get good or better play from their CBs I think they coast into the playoffs as one of the NFC favorites and win a minimum of 11 games.

Offense: I think we all know exactly what they are as long as Wentz is active. The only unknown is RB. The OL will be one of the best in the NFL (if not the best). TE play will be really good. WRs will be good. Wentz I guess is a little bit of a wild card even if playing as to how good he is. Is he 2017 good or more like 2018 or 2016? But overall Offense will be good and Wentz will put up numbers. Is Sudfeld healthy yet?

If Zeke keeps holding his ground he will have his highest paid RB contract before the season at this rate.

Interesting. Anything below Gurley in the long run is a win for the team because Zeke should be the highest paid RB in the league.

Again, if it were me, I tell him you get top 5 money if you want it this year or you come in, play the year, don't get arrested and we make you the highest paid RB in the league next year. I just think it is wrong for a team to reward a guy who tries to force a contract before it is his turn by sitting out and hurting the team.

Any new deal is going to start with the forgiving of the fines. It shouldn't, and Jerry should be reminding Zeke of this. But sounding like Jerry will fold. Just hope it is a fluff contract that ends up only really adding a single guaranteed year at a time after his current remaining 2.

My understanding is that the Cowboys have chosen not to fine him. Did that change? Has he been getting fined all this time?
There is no chance Jerry fines him if he comes back and/or they agree to a deal. But, I don't think the rule is that you are fined each day. I think you can do it after the fact or even withhold it from future paychecks if you want. So I'm not sure where you read that. I'm guessing it was more someone's opinion than coming from the league or team as fact.

I can't remember where I heard it. I did a search and it appears he is getting fined. Deadline passes as Elliott loses accrued season, fines reach $500K

This article had some interesting information though. Based on Zeke not reporting I was under the impression he lost a season of service and his free agency date would be pushed back. Turns out that is not the case. It only determines what type of free agent Elliot can become. Based on this he can still be an UFA in 2021.
