I said I don’t think the Warriors are close to being done. They are going to be on the short list of contenders for the next 3-4 years.

The East is going to look a lot different this year.

Philly lost 2 starters and replaced them with guys who play very different roles. They don’t have a lot of depth and their cap situation is going to make future improvements difficult. If the current pieces click and Simmons progresses, they could be right there as good as anybody. But that is a big IF and it would be incredibly stupid for anyone to pronounce any degree of certainty on what this team will be without seeing them.

Having said that, he's gotta be smart enough to give a better answer. Because you're right, it just confirms the perception that he's about himself over the team.
