Neither he nor Wiggy have a good answer for this, because the pros who actually do this for a living made the best play

We'll never know for certain what they could have done because they weren't open to options, other than to keep their core together which I understand since the fans would have been mad if they didn't. It doesn't mean that there wouldn't have been viable trades available if they kept all options open. Look at OKC , they were willing to trade PG with the right offer, who knows what was available if GS was more active. GS was determined to keep the core together and they did, but it's at the expense of another championship.

The fact that you don't root for any team causes idiocy like this.

Nah, I'm pretty sure that being an idiot is what causes idiocy like that.

Case in point: @gordontrue doesn't have a specific team and is one of the best here. Hopefully, he'll be around more when the season starts.

I agree. But imo, being good enough to make the playoffs would be a mistake given what they're trying to do. It would put them in NBA purgatory. They'd be good enough to be a 1st or 2nd round exit. But couldn't do much to get better.

True, but waiting 3-4 years sucks for the fans...Sometimes just being good isn't that bad imo...

But yea, the smartest thing would be to just suck and get 2 more lottery picks for sure

Yeah, I get it. As a fan you always want to be pulling for your team to win. The couple of years that the Lakers truly tanked...I found myself rooting for them to be good enough that I could see the improvement, but not good enough to win many games. That was a weird feeling. lol

Hope everything ok with him. Wasn't around since late June.

If he is ok then I hope the direction this board been going in didn't run him away.

Comeback @gordontrue

This board is going to be missing some posters if this shit keeps going when the season starts. Hopefully, we'll get a couple of good meltdowns out of them beforehand.

You're a homer, that's for certain.

Well no, but again, since you don't know what that means I'm not surprised you continue to misuse the word.

Maybe another In N Out thread is in order but that might cause a @trojanfan12 meltdown...lol

funny thing about some fast food chains are the people who start them...

Carl Karcher is an example. dude was an utter racist and affiliated with the American Nazi party...

Good post until the end. They may win another they may not, but the moves they made helped them win again if they do. Put it this way, we all can type our opinions, but I trust the professional front office of the recent dynasty about 1000x more than I trust yours.

Then why are you lashing out like a maniac, is it because you're a crazy homer.

Obviously because I'm apoplectic with triggered rage. I'm over here crying and screaming now, thanks a lot jerk!
