Oh it will happen. Someday there will be a tell all. A disgruntled employee an angry ex player. They cannot keep the lid on forever. Just hope I live to see it. Sadly and I hate to say it but. These things are what have had me waffling for the past two years between is the NFL a real sport anymore or entertainment like say the WWE.

I knew we were in trouble when we got flagged for tackling too soon early in the game. Needed to let him run up field first. :L

If you go to the game thread on the general boards, almost every post was in disbelief on the call.

Nearly comical.

It was their two penalties vs our nine when the game was on the line, that puts me in the same boat with your WWE take.

I saw plenty on both teams, and the phantom hold on Sullivan when Gurley had his best run for a 1st that ended up putting us at 1st and 20 for nearly 30 yards back in field position, just has me scratching my head and wondering why I follow this game still.

Yes didn't understand it when it happened still don't. Was a sweet tackle I thought. I am not questioning the athletes. Its all about the money you can see patterns, follow the money, it would be very easy for the NFL to set up chosen outcomes then use the tools they have to influence that outcome. Follow the money.

That call was ridiculous, I looked at my wife and said the Rams will lose this game if the refs keep this up. I didn't know you had to give the receiver a head start down field before you tackle him. lol
What do you have to do? say 1-1000 2-1000 -3-1000?.

I was at at the game and it was at this time I started screaming who??? And bullshit!!!(not kidding)... First, Didn't they call that penalty on #36??? Hatfield didn't play, which means there is no #36...

Second, if they called it for the tackle, it was a bang-bang play and the tackle was hard, but looked legal...

I also want to mention since this was the first live game I had ever been to and this is the venting thread... The stadium announcers are AWFUL at announcing the proper yardage once the ball is moved... They were so obviously WAY off at times

Honestly think, defenseless receiver should always be at least beyond the line of scrimmage.

It's not like the DB, LB or Safety was T'ing off on the receiver.

It was a dump behind the LOS to prevent a sack that was actually caught by good fortune.

To reward a bad broken up play by a rule that is designed to protect the WR out in the flats running at full speed in the same regard is unbelievable!

But seriously, didn't they call it on #36? I was drinking water at the game, didn't want to have to pee all the time

Were the prices there reasonable like I heard they were?

I couldn't afford to go to games and drink. I'd much rather buy a 6 pack and tailgate if I go to the stadium. :suds:
Beer prices 10 years ago at FedEx field were like $9-$11 for a 12 oz, so I can only imagine how much Dan Snyder has jacked that up since then, especially since there's less and less Redskins fans that go to the games every year.

The drinks were free(other than tips of course) but since I didnt want to have to pee and miss part of the game I stuck to sipping water lol

With the price you paid for the tickets, I can't say that I blame you too much for that. Get your money's worth out of those tickets.:suds:

Rams seem to have a lot of faith in Joe Noteboom and Brian Allen, I hope they are right because they will be protecting Goff. Goff needs a solid O-Line to be successful and so does Gurley. It will be interesting to see what happens here with Sullivan and Saffold's predicted departure.

Syracuse ain’t bad at all.
I’m hoping that Bryce Perkins can help lead us to the Coastal title. If he can, all seven teams in the Coastal would’ve won the division in seven years.

Everything I have seen so far of Noteboom and Allen is very encouraging, Rambunctious. It is guys like Demby and some other third tier jackasses that are effing things up in the preseason games.

A tiger cannot change his stripes, right?

This Pats team averaged 26 ppg against a half dozen teams who didn't make the playoff away from Foxborough, yet held the top two offenses this year in the post seeason to 3 points in the first half combined.

This coach held two of the most proliflic offensive teams to make a Super Bowl to 6 points combined in the first half of those respective games.

Neither of those two Pats teams were known for their defense, but somehow they honestly rose to the occasion just because they had the better HC?

Just not convinced due to that teams propensity to 'bend' the rules, and I wouldn't be surprised if one day we all find the smoking gun.

You won't find a smoking gun. The NFL won't allow it to happen.
They will burn evidence and silence whistleblowers because if the truth ever came out, it would damage the league as a whole.

Imagine the outcry from not only the other 31 teams, but the millions of fans who were denied opportunities at not only making the SB, but possibly winning them.

Look how quickly they silenced spygate and deflategate and gave the Pats slaps on the wrist for the infractions.

And that's not even addressing the refs favoritism of the Pats with lack of penalties/penalties called in their favor.

Remember the year they went undefeated through the reg. season? The O-line was called for holding a whopping 5 times ALL season. Mind you, you can call holding on just about every play in the NFL, and the Pats went 16 games with 5 called.

If it ever does come out. The truth about the Pats and their organization. It is my belief it will be from the inside. A disgruntled employee. A slighted coach, player, hell a water boy. People have seen and heard and done things. Factor in the money to be made with a tell all. And you are right it will never come from the NFL only if their hand is forced.

If we play out the season like we did against Arizona yesterday, we could potentially win out.

AND still miss the playoffs at 11-5!
