That said, Kobe brought the Lakers 5 championship titles and Jones brought us nothing and never brought anyone else even close, so if I had it to do over - I would still take that trade because I know what we will get. Nick Van Excel, though was a waste and if there was no Kobe to trade for, then Shaq for Caron, Lamar and the other dude never gets done. Your comparison was god awful. You basically listed all power players and compared them to a PG. As mentioned before Eddie Jones could play SF just like Kuz. It isn't a bad comparison at all if we are being honest

First of all, two decades apart, two different kind of players. How many power forwards were expected to take the 3 back in the 90s? While they both could play the SF position, Kuzma has played the 4 or 5 for most of the last two years. We're talking about a SG that could play the SF position vs a PF that could play the SF position. It's like saying Magic COULD play the center position, and he has, but if you were going to start a team and had to pick a 5, I doubt anyones first choice would be Magic.

And it's not in the same stage of their career. We're looking at 4 years of EJ experience compared to 2 years of Kuz. That's twice as much. Age difference is 4 years too.
