Boy. Those steelers are really looking stupid right now. :heh:

However. It does make me want to watch hard knocks.
I assume there's some sort of on-screen warning for when Mark Davis is in an episode, to minimize risk to small children, people with heart conditions, elderly pets, etc.?

yes & there is at least 24 different models to choose from. Not like they only gave you one option.
10 models were banned. Common sense (something AB may have none of) says you shouldnt use a helmet that doesnt pass. You know another helmet that doesnt pass. The leather Helmet.

AB needs to wear a special helmet, designed for a special asshat......

Why don't they just get him to sign some legal documents waiving NFL of any responsibility should he get a head injury or develop CTE and then let him wear whatever helmet he likes. This might open Pandora's box to other things too, which arguably could unbalance the field of play some.

Too dumb to make a helmet that keeps a player's vision open.

That's where this billion dollar league is at.:pound:

Good thing they pay ESPN so much money to convince all you dumbasses they're right.:thumb:

Are you really taking AB's side in this? Really?
NFL is fighting billion dollar lawsuits on this and you want them to let him wear his old peewee league helmet because he likes it? Really? Raiders should just STFU? Really??????

I know AB is having this problem with his helmet but I personally he should put that aside and show up to camp and worry about the helmet on the side. Put his team before himself. but in the end of the day he is a selfish person.

Yes. Antonio likes playing football in his helmet and it's his head. He's done it for ten years. They should have grandfathered him in, but they aren't as smart as the NHL.

If the new helmet isn't better than the old helmet in every way, then it shouldn't be forced upon anyone. Antonio isn't more safe in the new helmet. He's less safe, more hesitant, less certain about what he sees. That's not an improvement.

Seems simple enough to me as well.

From what I've been told from some legal types...it would not likely hold up in court. Too difficult to determine when a player developed CTE...was it prior to signing such a doc, or after?

The only thing that could improve this soap opera would be if AB went back to Pittsburgh.

HBO is paying the man well this month.

None of this shit is real imo.

None of it. He's playing with us.
If not, that is one prima donna doofuss extraordinaire. The ultimate troll game to get outta preseason workouts where that Abram kid is looking to knock his head off in practice.

hey genius, there are, what, dozens upon dozens of OTHER wide receivers in this league that seemingly have no problem at all with newly-designed helmets. Soooooo, if that's the case, why can't a crybaby like antonio adjust? what, exactly, is his problem?

his problem is that he's a highly talented pud, and people who defend him are simple jacks.

way to be, simple jack.

Lets do the math. There's 32 teams with 90 guys in camp. Throw in replacements for guys how have been injured and we're looking at roughly 2950 guys, only one of which can't find a helmet to work with. Nice job AB

Brown has all the talent in the world but his ego seems to be bigger than his talent. Time for him to grow up and wear the proper helmet.

Hey at least with the leather helmet he won't miss this coming:

Or is this is all a ploy to skip training camp to avoid Burfict during practice and AB is just smarter than the rest of us?

:Noidea:
