Most people and 99.3+% of tshirt bandwagoners don't know that is exactly how SOS works, "losses and beating an FCS team is the same as beating Ohio State."

giphy.gif
that SOS is a BS stat.

#UCFacts
So then you agree that beating an FCS is the same as beating Alabama. Beating 11-1 team is no different than beating 1-11 teams

But it shouldn’t matter what who you play, it’s only about wins and losses and beating an FCS team is the same as beating Ohio State.

Yes, that is the way I read it also.

Morningside, Iowa went 14-0 in 2018
Valdosta State, georgia went 14-0 in 2018

Those two need to be ranked

This is apparently the first year that USC hasn't been ranked in the Preseason AP Poll since 2001.

Beating an 11-1 FBS team is the same irregardless of their name.

FCS is a different division with less scholarships, noob.

Differences:

Scholarships
FBS teams are allowed 85. FCS teams are allowed 63, though some conferences allow fewer than that. The Ivy League, for example, doesn’t have athletic scholarships.

In FBS, every football scholarship is a full ride given to one player. In FCS, teams can split up the value of their 63 scholarships among up to 85 players, meaning some players have partial scholarships.

Money
FBS teams have a lot more of it than FCS teams. They have far better broadcast deals. They get more scholarships because they’re able to fund more of them. They can finance nicer facilities and hire more expensive coaches than FCS programs, and that all goes into FBS teams being better.

So you are an elitist. FCS teams are just as good as FBS teams you UCFacist.

Reality is gonna set in on half of those top 10 teams after the first couple of weeks, so its pretty moot.

I just deal with the UCFacts, and not conjecture. You also used fascist incorrectly which is no surprise when you can't spell it correctly.

#UCFacts
You are a divisionist. Since UCF came up to FBS you are trying to keep FCS schools down. Everyone knows they are on the same level except UCFake UCFootball UCFans like you.

I realize you're probably joking, but if not that's a dumb strategy. Pick someone unranked #26 and you still have ensure no negative points, while giving yourself the possibility for positive points.
If you pick the top ranked team as overrated, and an unranked team as underrated, worst you can do is break even, which is what I did.

You mean using words incorrectly like “starter,” “flip,” and “reward”?

Wisconsin has 5. OSU, Michigan, MSU, Iowa, Nebraska. Any team from the BIG East plays at least 3 in the division and possibly 3 cross division
Iowa plays 5 too. Michigan , PSU, Iowa St, Wisky and Nebraska

I was thinking something similar. After #1 and #2, I don't see a hell of a lot of difference between #3 and #25...AT THIS POINT.

Pollsters are using the WAG method when they vote.

Hello all - So how many of these teams does your squad play? Ducks have four of them. Anyone have five?
I think it is more important how many ranked teams you played when the FINAL rankings come out. Too many people say we played so and so and they were ranked ???. And by the end of the season, that opponent had crapped all over the bed and wasn't even ranked. JMO.

Obviously you are correct. But this is the benchmark - today.
