Except 2015, but we don't talk about that year.I'm talking about in general. We've had their number my whole life. There's a reason Chipper has a son named Shea.

It's been pretty even the past few years however..... Over the past 7 seasons, Braves are 63-61 vs the Mets.

I'd say a lot of that is we were in a brutal rebuild while the Mets were contenders from 15-17.
Mets won 70 games (2 less than the Braves) in 2017, so they certainly weren't contenders that year.
Since 2013, Mets have have had a better record than the Braves in just 2 of those seasons, yet they're playing near .500 vs them.
13-6 against them last year. 6-4 so far this year. I'm gonna go ahead and blame it on the rebuild.
In all fairness Braves though, Braves also went just 10-9 vs the Mets in 2013 when they won 96 games and the Mets won just 74.

I'm blaming that on Chipper not being there in the locker room for the first time and the rest of the team being lost.
So the Braves weren't lost against most of the league (since they won 96 games) but all of a sudden they couldn't focus on the lowly Mets because Chipper's presence was missing?
Come on...
You took that seriously. Sounds to me that you're the one that needs to "come on."
So then we're in agreement that it wasn't just the rebuild mode that made the Mets play surprisingly decently vs the Braves lately...
