Not every RB is as valuable to his team as Zeke is to Dallas. The Eagles, Pats, Falcons, Saints and many other teams use a RB by committee approach. They don't emphasize one lead back the way Dallas does, and are thus less exposed to any one player's contract demands.

But for Dallas...Zeke is a cornerstone player. Whether it is the run or pass, he makes up a large percentage of the Cowboys offense.

Yeah I admitted that in my last post in regards to Zeke.. Because they suck without him period but still... It's not like he's getting paid peanuts.. Then again this is Jerry senile Jones so he could get a huge contract coming... OR...... Get cut

I hear you but owners break contracts a hell of a lot more then RBs. You can expect only one side honor deals. If the owners always honored deals I’m with you, but they don’t.

Come on, how do you expect owners to honor contracts when they are getting blow jobs from illegals in a massage parlor.. They have priorities man!

No way Jerry cuts or trades Zeke by the way. Jerry loves him some old-school 1990s football with a stud RB and fat OL. He will pay Zeke huge coin eventually.

I really REALLY disagree and if I was Daks agent there isn’t a chance in hell I let him play. What if he gets a terrible injury during this season like Wentz, RG3, Teddy Bridgewater, Alex Smith. I mean Rodgers and Brady have been lost for a season too. What if that happens this year? Dak just can’t risk that. He needs his 100,000,000 guaranteed right now. Has nothing to do with being a leader. I agree Dak comes off as intelligent and that’s exactly why he can’t gamble 100,000,000 for absolutely nothing.
The dumbest thing a franchise QB can do is play the last year of his deal with zero security.
I dont really think you understand Rookie contracts. Holding out on a rookie contract changes nothing.
but again. This is a moot point. Dak will have a new deal soon.

Yes. Because of Dak. Try to keep up.
Classic. Make a stupid statement, get corrected, and then respond with the stale "try to keep up" put-down. You guys are great.

That may be true, but they ARE the owners. The company I work for is allowed to fuck the employees over more than the workers are allowed to fuck them over.

I think the NFL and the owners need to stay Steeler-like with players that pull this shit. Don't become the NBA where the players rule.

I completely understand but Dak (hypothetically) holding out changes one incredibly important thing. The 2019 Dallas Cowboys season! That’s Daks hypothetical position of power.

You really just don't make any sense and just make stuff up. Isn't there a sand box you can go play in.

I've told you the same thing over and over. You bring up stats (and only ones Dak doesn't excel in) because you don't actually watch the games and I explained to you over and over why certain stats are lesser and the various reason. Now you are trying to tackle big boy talk which is winning games. It's two different discussions. Dak is the main reason this flawed Cowboys team has won a lot of games the last 3 years - more than the rest of their talent would allow.

Why? What’s wrong with the NBA players having power too? Why should they back off and say, “Sure owners, you can have all the power. We will just sit back and do whatever you say”. Fuck that.

It probably would get him more money, but it's also a character thing. I suspect Dak doesn't hold out. I'm fine with what Lawrence did. He got tagged once and immediately and happily signed the tag and told the team if you tag me twice I'm not going to be happy. If Zeke holds out he would be doing so when he is signed for two more years. That's ridiculous. I don't think he misses a game personally
