Side note... did you see how upset Steelers fans were for the latest coach rankings? Lmao. Tomlin at #10 or something like that. I’ll never understand why so many people believe he’s a top 5 coach year in & year out. So many people were upset about it. I was, but for different reason.

I think he should be a touch lower. 14-15 feels more right for him. Decent coach capable of getting the most out of his players when the chips are stacked against him. But they have to be stacked against him BEFORE things change which is maddening. And he’s horrible with X’s & O’s and everything that comes with in-game coaching.

As far as X's and O's, he fails miserably on getting his team up to beat weaker opponents, and his in game adjustments are abismal at best. So yes it is a HUGE mystery why all these so called pros rant him so high......I guess he still has them blinded with his bullshit. I was always raised, talk is cheap, but in the world of Mike Tomlin talk is his only game and far too many idiots are drinking his cool-aid.

Everyone is very quick to bring up his 65% win rate, and never having a losing season. Yea that's a fancy stat to make you feel all warm & fuzzy on paper, but its a false truth. He is a coach that has done next to nothing while continuously being stocked flush with talent by one of the best GMs in the NFL. Not to mention he'll always have that monkey on his back for inheriting Cowher's team that got him to multiple Super Bowls.

He took the most stable organization in the NFL and turned it into a shell of its former self, or as we like to call it, a circus.
