I understand both sides of this argument but if the Raptors didn't draft so well they wouldn't have the pieces to trade for what they got

Yes, but if you had stuck with the core you drafted and didn't trade, you likely saw Milwaukee or GS win the title this year.

I agree with that.

But they also say the draft is the only way to build a contending team.

That is true in most markets. I would say Toronto is probably one of them.

Miami is not.

Ding. Ding. Fucking ding.

Kid has a fucking mental problem.

Fuck you get kicked out of Summer League?!?!?

I just think he's a piece of shit. I'm hoping he does something like that against the Heat and James Johnson rounded houses his ass.

Whats your point? Please don't tell me you're trying to make a ridiculous claim that blake and dj was supposed to be some title contending powerhouse before even getting cp3

I'm saying they weren't blocked the entire time by the Warriors.

LMAO what a piece of shit. You think being coached by Coach K he would have learned, this kid has anger problems and mental issues

To be fair,

Coach K only had him for like 11 games.

Expecting a team with Blake and DJ (as the 2nd best player) to make the finals or be final contenders is pretty stupid TBH

And holding something like that against Blake is pretty sad

Question:

If JJ did that, would he get suspended, or would he get a bonus?

The Clippers in 2012 and 2013 were not good enough to make the finals. They had disappointing playoffs exits in the 2nd round in 2014 and 2015 for different reasons but both had to do with a major collapse mainly due to CP3.

Game 5 vs OKC in 2014 and G6 at home vs Houston in 2015

Clippers had a 8 point lead entering the 4th vs OKC in 2014, 11 point lead with less than 4 to go, & a 7 point lead with 45 seconds to go. OKC ended up winning in regulation by 1 thanks to Chris Paul fouling Russ shooting a 3.....Chris Paul followed it up by turning the ball over on the final play

Blake in this game had 24 and 17 on 50% shooting. DJ had 0. CP3 had 17/14, shot poorly, and had 5 turnovers....and 2 critical mistakes late in the game.

Game 6 vs Houston. Clippers had a 17 point lead late in the 3rd AT HOME.....then they choked

It's sort of fitting that Paul finds himself stuck on a team with no immediate future in contention....and in Oklahoma City of all places. No offense OKC fans.

They will have a solid future but they are one CP3 injury away from possibly picking in the top 3
