He's trying to prove himself as the best in the game, he needs at least one legit ring lead dog ring to do that.
He got that with the Raps....

NBA doesn't allow those really from what I remember.
In the WC, OKC isn't getting a playoff spot......no fucking way.
He got that with the Raps....
It is really isn't at all.
@TurnUpTheHeat here is why we rarely see no trade clauses
To get a no-trade clause in the NBA, you must have at least eight years of service in the NBA and four years with your current team when you become a free agent and sign the new contract. It can't be given out on contract extensions, which is one of the reasons it's so rare to see it. Players often move around enough now to make them ineligible for such a stipulation. You're dumb.

Had it with the Spurs as well. Best player in that series, not named Lebron. Finals MVP isn't some media award. Kawhi was sort of an unknown up until around the Heat/Spurs Finals series. Dude's a late bloomer. But he doesn't have shit left to prove. He was saddled with a solid roster and an all-star in Kyle Lowry that was known for shrinking in the playoffs and won a title. GS was injured, but they had 3 other all-stars playing in that series (4 technically if we count Boogie).
Someone mentioned Detroit maybe wanting Paul
Do him and Blake even play a combined 82 games by year 3? Lol
For stating the truth? I don't think so.
Too many GS injuries to be legit.
