Maybe only Brady currently. All time it'd go:

Brady
Montanta
P. Manning
Unitas
Marino
Young
Elway
Favre

After that I think Rodgers slots into that spot outside the top 8 QB's all time.
Whats the argument for Young over Rodgers? They're pretty close together imo

13th... not 17th

NFL Quarterback Win/Loss Records | The Football Database

Longevity numbers are a silly way to judge a QB among the all-time greats when he's active and there isn't a doubt that he'll move up a good deal higher in those statistics. All he has to do is show up for a few more years. Seeing as he just signed a giant ass brand new contract, I find it highly unlikely that he doesn't do that.

It's like saying that Mike Trout hasn't eclipsed Paul Konerko as a baseball player because he hasn't surpassed him in hits or home runs to this point. It's irrelevant. His prime towers over that of Konerko's.

Rodgers is already at or near the top of the leaderboard in a multitude of statistics that QB's are judged by on HOF resumes. Playing long and accumulating more wins doesn't make you better than a guy who played shorter and was more efficient. Rodgers could retire tomorrow and easily have a better resume than a multitude of guys that you have him behind.
That's not regular season . That's all games ( including playoffs ) . And it's the topic of the OP. Where Rodgers ranks right now amongst the best ever . Right now . Not 4 years from now . Start the same thread 4 years from now and I'll let you know then where he ranks imo

The year that Rodgers was throwing "Hail Mary's" like outlet passes was definitely something to see. But I think teams are figuring how to defense those better.

Still only has 1 Superbowl ring.

You don't have to wait four years to have that conversation. This is an utterly absurd viewpoint, I'm sorry.

We can have this conversation right now.

So if Rodgers get Smithed next year you still think his career numbers are better than top 15 overall ?

Exactly. If you need some total numbers to judge a players' actual talent or their place in history, then I don't think you can evaluate just how good the player was. Roger Staubach played barely a decade, and his overall numbers are pedestrian (especially due to the era) but he still would make my top 10 all time. Rodgers has been a slam dunk 1st ballot guy for a while....I don't need to see another down from him, and haven't for a long time to judge exactly how good he is/was.

interesting on rodgers compared to brady (yeah i did it)

rodgers first 165 games thru 2018:

42,944 yards
64.8%
338 TD's to 80 picks
103.1 rating

Tom Bradys last 173 games:

48,950 yards
65.1%
370 TD's to 93 picks
102.0 rating

pretty damn close.

Number of SB rings doesn't determine the GOAT.
