It was basically a small camp skirmish after Heath stopped Dak at the LOS in the Red Zone.

Here's a copy and paste from the story.

Prescott and the Cowboys offense were in the red zone during one of
the sessions when the quarterback ran a zone read around left end.
Heath was there to stop the play and take him out of bounds.

Prescott shoved Heath at the end of the play. Heath shoved him back.
Players from both sides of the ball gathered around the two before the
episode quickly subsided.
good. it shows they care.

apparently he has some animosity toward the Cowboys for drafting him late in the draft costing him money. even though i think 26-28M AAV would be a fair deal (5 years 130 to 140M with 110M guaranteed) I now expect that nothing short of 32 to 35M AAV (5 years 160 to 175M) will get him signed. and it bothers me about the possible effects that will come with paying him that much.

I heard he's been sleeping with Jerry's granddaughter and recording it. Sounds like he is planing on using the video as leverage during negotiations.

The Cowboys' preferred style of play will not lend itself to Prescott putting up huge numbers in 2019. He has not had a 4,000-yard season, but he has 14 fourth-quarter comebacks -- an NFL record in a quarterback's first three seasons.

Only numbers I care about...

I'm not going to lie Ive been up and down on Dak. I like him, but don't love him. I think this year he takes another step forward. This year I'm all in on Dak and then decide where I stand with him at the end of the season.

Tony Romo on the potential downside that could come with changing Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's footwork

I kind of get what he is saying, but it is also kind of dumb. It's not like you can't focus on correcting poor footwork and also making sure your arm angle is correct. Especially when the focus on his footwork is because of how it affected the way the ball was coming out in the first place.
I cant read it, but I am with you.
Certain players correcting footworks will help them take that next step. Others might ruin what they do. No one was ever going to correct Brett Favre's footwork or he wouldnt have been Brett Favre.

So far I have heard nothing but good things about Dak so the changes must be good.

Changes seem to be working great from what we hear, but all that matters is what happens once the lights come on. Once you have a guy coming at you for real ready to lay the wood to you and you can't focus on your footwork is when we find out for sure. The biggest problem for me was leaning back when pressure was in his face or panic moving instead of sliding when things were collapsing around him. Easy of course for me to say from my couch :D

Was going to say the same thing. News out of camp has all been positive, but that's the case every year.
My biggest smile is from the Moore OC news. I was against him but "Camp News" says I was wrong. We will soon see.
