Actually, the deaths have been from illnesses caused through making this inhumane journey and putting your child’s life in danger.

This is a travesty, but how this is Trump's fault, or even the US's fault is beyond me. The current outrage is hypocritical, at best. where was this outrage over the last decade? How many died trying enter this country while Obama, or Bush, or Clinton? How come no one was accusing them of racism or worse?

Its this type of political gamesmanship that really turns me off. As I said, this incident is a travesty but by no means an isolated incident.

Want to drive voters like me to Trump? Keep up the selective outrage. Trump has enough real negatives to focus on, you don't need to make shit up. He no more caused these deaths than Obama did for those who died trying to enter illegally during his watch.

Actually if you followed what actually is being reported. This man tried to do it the "Right way". He showed up at a port of entry with his family and requested Asylum. He was turned away because of the new Harsher policy (Notice I said Policy and not LAW) and out of desperation he attempted to cross the river in order to again request asylum from within the US because our LAW says you need to be inside the US to request asylum.

Look I know you guys will defend Trump because you like his policies and blah blah.. but the reality is, his policies on immigration have lead to and will continue to lead to more deaths. He has not made the problem better, he has made it worse. And I think he will continue to make it worse because nothing stirs p his base more than dehumanizing some Mexicans... well except for maybe going after Roe v Wade, but he has done all he can on that front so far.

Actually, immigration is probably the main area I disagree with his policies. If for no other reason that economic, we need immigrants coming into this country and I think we should be implementing policy that expedites those immigrants that will contribute positively. Now, before you think this is code for lets let all the whites in and repel those of color, that has nothing to do with it. I will gladly welcome any from south of the border, or any other area, that contribute. But to keep our economy chugging, we need laborers, truck drivers, farm hands, restaurant workers, etc to keep up with demand. And there is a real serious shortage of these workers. So serious, that it has the potential to stall our economy. And yes, immigrants usually fill these roles when they first enter the country. And for the ones truly interested in a better life, this is the first step toward building a future.

However, this does not mean we open the flood gates and let all in. Just as not enough, too many can also have a serious adverse affect. Just look at California. But any President's first priority is the safety and welfare of those who elected him, the citizens of this country. Which is how it should be.

And yes, Trump is playing to his base. Just as the Democrats are. The vast majority of these illegals are not seeking asylum, but opportunity. But the Dems found this "loop hole" under the guise of asylum to pound Trump. But its just not true.

Both parties need to come together and find a middle ground solution and stop this gamesmanship. But that ain't gonna happen with the next election on the horizon.

90% of asylum cases are phony . blame the fakes for that . and guess what? the american public was against fighting these left wing dictators in the 80's and they won out . we send billions of dollars in aid to those countries and they pad their pockets like all socialists do . costa rica is much closer and yet ? .........

now i am going to continue my assessment of our press . in previous posts you have seen the numbers i have put up (recently for those with amnesia ) and it shows the distorted coverage of our president from the LSM (90%negative )

but you havent seen Obama numbers /. in his 1st 100 days (same comparison for trump ) the PEW research center came up with 42% positive , 36% neutral and 22% negative . far better then anything trump got

now lets look at Bush , he got 78% negative and a mere 22% positive from the same study group this shows the bias isnt just a case of trump its straight up bias against conservative thought which isnt surprising considering the make up of news rooms today

over 85 % of all news rooms are made of of progressives and democratic donors , voters , or ex employees of candidates and elected officials

now lets look at fox again , 52% negative for trump , 48% positive so tell me what is the less bias coverage ? the 90% or the 52 % ?

i can see why people on this board only see one side . its all they get from their news sources

there are numerous examples of medias progressive political and ideological bias and how widespread it is through surveys and studies but its often denied , dismissed , spun or made righteous . people on this board have done this and still do it

now i have put up the numbers in 3 different posts spanning over a week to 10 days . the people calling fox news biased have seen the numbers and have not countered them yet with any numbers or even emotional arguments, nothing . wanna make a bet they push the same nonsense ?

heck we had a poster leave the board ( in a huff i might add ) because of the trump numbers and the fox numbers i posted and still wanted me to admit fox has "bias " . i hadnt even given the obama numbers

here is what you get from the LSM everything is about race and victim hood . everything is trumps fault no matter how long the issue has been going on, big govt socialism is the answer to everything , dems can do what they want to and not be held accountable , and anything differing from that is nazism , fascist, white supremacist angry white men, bible thumping far right activism

and getting socialism is done by ANY means needed
