Season is approaching . Training camp getting close . You know the drill . Every new season averages about 5 new teams in the playoffs . Who's your 5 in this year and who are they replacing ??
AFC
In: Broncos, Steelers
Out: Ravens, Texans
NFC
In: Falcons, Packers, Vikings
Out: Bears, Cowboys, Rams
By having the LA Rams and Seattle both out that means either Arizona or San Fran will win the NFC West. You don't have either one on your IN list.OUT:
Baltimore - Get ready for reality, Ravens fans. Feel free to bring this up if I'm wrong, but by year's end, teams will have figured out Lamar.
Seattle - Just too many personnel losses, not sure that their defense can carry them any further. Still an elite QB, but no elite weapons around him.
LA Rams - I think the loss of Gurley, at least from what he was last year, is going to take a toll. They've also got a daunting schedule, at least it would appear.
Philadelphia - This is based on no more Foles and the likelihood of Wentz missing time. People forget that Philly was only 9-7 last year, and they needed a 3-game winning streak with Foles to end the year to even make the playoffs.
Houston - Like the Rams, they have a brutal schedule, and outside of Hopkins they have so much uncertainty at nearly every skill position. Their very sub-par OL is also something to consider.
IN:
Cleveland - Just so much talent on both sides of the ball, and Kitchens proved to have the ability to get the most from the offense last year once Haley/Hue were fired.
Pittsburgh - No more drama with Brown and Bell, plus some solid additions on defense, should see them get back to the playoffs after narrowly missing last year.
Washington - People forget that this was a 6-3 team sitting comfortably in 1st place in the NFCE last year when Alex Smith went down, and they have a pretty easy stretch in the middle of the schedule, facing 9 non-playoff teams out of 10 games starting week 4.
Minnesota - Very talented team, and Cousins will be more comfortable in his 2nd year. They narrowly missed the playoffs last year, but it won't happen again.
Carolina - Like Washington, this was a team sitting nicely last year before injuries hit. They were 6-2 at one point, with wins over Dallas, Philly, and Baltimore under their belt before Halloween. They bounce back.
Shit, total brainfart on my part. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have the Rams in the playoffs, and Washington out. Replace with:By having the LA Rams and Seattle both out that means either Arizona or San Fran will win the NFC West. You don't have either one on your IN list.
Very boldI'm going
Out
Houston
Baltimore
Philly
Seattle
New Orleans
In
Cleveland
Buffalo
Atlanta
Minnesota
San Fran
If they miss the playoffs, it won't be because of the defense. Grabbing Ed Oliver was awesome and they already have some nice pieces. If Allen is still tossing more picks than TDs, it's gonna be really difficult though.I really like what they did in the off-season . I was torn between them and the Jags
Buffalo? I gotta hear the rationale? Is it the wildly accurate qb? The aging rb’s, the motley crew wr core they put togetherI'm going

I really like the D and yes the wideouts aren't great but still an upgrade . If Allen plays even mediocre I think they can get to 9-7 or so especially given how bad Miami is going to be .Buffalo?
