Everything except rookie draft. Rookie draft he goes 1st with the other top rookie backs.

I'm in a start up Dynasty draft right now.

Since we are in a lull.......

Gurley went 1.13 drafted by a Ram homer and he got shafted because someone took Henderson round 4 pick 13. Course this is a 16 team league. Thing is it's real dangerous to draft Gurley because someone is going to want to put the screws to you by drafting Henderson early. I'd want to be the one putting the screws to the Gurley owner, and not be the Gurley owner.:2cents:

I can see all the rookie backs going earlier in a startup dynasty. Tough to cuff with any. Sanders would go before Howard, but don't think he does in redrafts. Singletary before McCoy/Gore.

My only concern would be that last year Malcolm Brown was slated to be the back up last year and got hurt. They just resigned him this off season and I would expect him to get more snaps. They also have still have John Kelly who was a rookie last year. Gotta figure Henderson sits like most rams rookies do unless Gurley is not playing at all.

I think this is the most likely outcome, but Henderson was way better in college than brown or kelly, comes in with better pedigree and larger team investment being a 3rd round pick. And a lot of people (myself included) had Henderson ranked high before the draft, so he had some hype before the Gurley arthritis situation

Kupp didn't sit ?

Brown may be the value play in the backfield. If Henderson is rolling as the 1b and Gurley gets hurt, would you see Brown getting all of the (reduced) Gurley touches and Henderson's touches staying mostly the same?

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

This may not help but here's part of my spreadsheet.
Usage = the offense's total plays divided by the individual's touches on those plays.
Snap = the total times they lined up on an offensive play. (Doesn't mean they touched the ball or were a target.)
RZ = percentage of times they touched the ball when the team was in their red zone.

With the exception of the Snap%, all other numbers are based off of the regular season stats only.
And no, I didn't include C.J. Anderson's numbers since I'd have to do some extra math on his time split with Carolina.

I will say Kupp was a major exception to the rule. But a lot of rookies the last could of seasons have sat the first half of the season.

why do we assume that the Rams will be such a great offense without Gurley... I am just unsure about that even... the problem with offensive lines is that they are inconsistent year to year, and are often one injury away from being totally different...

and its not like the rams have great receivers... they don't.... Kupp is coming back from an injury, Woods is a WR2, and who else do they have??? they are an offense that goes through the running game, not the other way around...

So question is, if Gurley goes down, is it really an offense you want a piece of??

McVay gets overhyped, but he's a good offensive mind.

Goff can hit his spots. Woods, Cooks, Kupp is really good even though none are true 1s.

The Oline did lose Saffold.

Seriously, dude? Cooks could quite easily end up being the best of the three. C'mon, now. :nono::nono::nono:

Well, my hit rate on 5th round picks is probably around 11%.... So, 5th round.

Hey @Ram Tough , what's yer opinion on this?

@Chef99 chef my man!!! The news and updates on Gurley starting with after the super bowl have been down right depressing for me as a Rams fan and Gurley fan. After much thought and research surrounding Gurley and the arthritis in his knee my conclusion is.... His best days are behind him and unfortunately I truly believe he becomes a cap casualty in 2-3 years.

Now for the Good news I absolutely love Darrell Henderson. I think he has the perfect skill set to complement Gurley and help give Gurley the rest and time share he will greatly need to stay productive.

To me I would consider taking Darrell Henderson as early as the 7th-8th round in a PPR.. probably 9th-10th in a non ppr.

Henderson could truly have a Kamara like effect for this Rams offense in 2019,and with the news on Gurley.. it's much needed

also funny that torn ligaments, achilles, ACL, LCL, PCL etc people are far less worried about than arthritis

The earlier he goes the less likely you get him as a cuff. And if he does start going before the 5th then is it worth it to get Gurley??

Does anyone believe that they will both be fantasy worthy at the same time??
