Being contenders? With what team?
You was saying that last season too... remember?
You'll be lucky if you make it to the playoffs with that circus buddy... wake up!
Ok... if that is what is bothering you (including Zubac 1.5M) in the list... then take wipe that out... Deng's 6M are still on the books and the rest were still wasted for nothing because Lebron needed them with the Cavs...
Bucks thank you for Lopez, Pels thank you for Randle in addition!
First of all, it's quite clearly $5M, not $6M. Your own Bucks team has nearly $4M in dead cap themselves (Hawes and Sanders ring a bell?). Randle just opted out of his player option for Randle, we'll see if they're willing to pay $20M+ instead of that $9M bargain he signed for last year. Lopez is also a free agent. Facts.
and btw, KEEP sLopez since he's so fond of him. I STILL say the guy's too slow to guard my couch...
I was happy he wasn't retained for that very reason. The big loss to me last year was Thomas Bryant. Wouldn't mind getting him (or Satoransky) away from the Wiz, but they're both RFAs, which complicates a lot of things.
That is all nonsense...First of all, it's quite clearly $5M, not $6M. Facts.
That is all nonsense...
1. We are not talking the Bucks here, who were forced to do what they did and then 2M out of their stretched goes away this season...
2. Randle won't cost 20+ for the Pels to retain and then they can easily afford the cost it will be... then the Pels will have another 23M of cap space added next season out of their expirings Hill and Moore (both of which they may just waive this season or just use as salary fillers in 3 team deals...)
3.Lopez is resigning with the Bucks for the MLE (9.3M) although he can have more if interested... he is not!
Thanks to the Lakers, he made enough for his salary to be of second (or third) priority for him and being with the team he loved and enjoyed most in his career is his first priorty...
I guess you'll never understand what being with a condending TEAM means to some, rather of participating to a CIRCUS that all it knows is buying...
Agree. 2 injured guys and a dime a dozen guard?Meh.
The quarters, dimes and nickels of a mediocre team.
And if Bron and AD are healthy, those are not going to be high draft picks.
What two superstars? AD and who else?funny part about all this is with the Warriors already banged up before the 2019/2020 season even begins Buckalis finds it hard to believe that the Lakers with 2 superstar players can make the playoffs(depending on health, of course). it's gonna be wide open in the Western Conference this upcoming season. I don't see what's so hard to get here...
Well yeah.
At least for now.
If they go ahead and use their cap space to resign Rondo and KCP, then I am pretty sure you will hear a lot more about how bad their front office is.
For now though, they made a very good move and have 2 superstars.
I'm saying HE WAS a super~SUPERSTAR... now he is LeClown~superstar...and as much as I personally despise LeClown I never denied his skills...
so you're saying he's NOT a superstar, Buckalis...?
please say yes, I could use the laughs...
Yea
I just can't imagine being lined up for a Max contract and being a douche over four million bucks potentially costing your new team a max player
I see Kemba is willing to take below max. Dude won in college maybe he takes a little less to get competitive
Actually, the only way that the Lakers would have enough space for a full max would be if they wait until July 30th to make the trade official. I don't see the Pels being ok with that.
So, it really becomes the difference between having $24 million in cap space or $28 million.
He said he'd take less to stay put. I don't know as that he's said he'd take less someplace else.
