I don't know LaCosse. What can you tell me? Was he cut or FA not signed. What do you think of him
(other than he's now a patriot so you hate him)

trying to grade out our TE's and they all look like they could stick or be punted.....

Doesn’t do much for me. He was a street free agent. Got some good experience last year by default. Nothing fancy but an ok stop gap.

Still early but it's looking like he will be week 1 starter unless someone steps up. Andrew Beck could maybe do that but it would be a big step.....

I would wager - Matt LaCosse - will over perform the expectation. He showed flashes of a TE who could find the seam and catch the ball. Not exceptional, but average or a little above for TE as blocker - he has some ceiling as blocker. I like him as a prospect.

Even though the Broncos have not done well statistically with the TE position - it is stacked with talented guys overcoming injury - and Fant the new first rounder. LaCosse had a numbers game to contend with for any decent role for Broncos TE.

The Broncos have too many guys with potential to keep a JAG on the roster. It could bite them in the ass if injuries continue to hurt them but it was a worthwhile risk to take, to let him go.
