D1: FBS vs FCS, which one is better?

I get there is more money in FBS. But UCF is UCFlushed with cash.

So, simply because FCS a 24 team playoff which is sanctioned by the NCAA, makes it better than FBS.

I don't think they can beat North Dakota State lol.

No shot at UCF btw. NDSU can hang with anyone in FBS apart from Bama and Clemson. The rest of the upper-end schools on a good day might get by them without much trouble. Maybe.

Half of the SEC, ACC, and BIG 12 would blow past NDSU on their "good" days. Too much speed, size, and talent.

I think Bigfoot is blurry. That’s the problem. It’s not the photographer’s fault. And that’s extra scary to me. There’s some out of focus monster just roaming the country.

I think it’s more that the picture caught Bigfoot as he was engaging his cloaking device. Think predator as he is turning invisible. It also explains why humans have a hard time finding them.

Last year Vegas had NDSU as favorites vs 80 of the 130 FBS teams , within a 3 point spread vs 17 more and only 12 teams were favored over them by 8+. And that wasn't even a great NDSU team

I would try to pimp them out to if they kicked our ass....It's funny how different the point spread might be if it wasn't a hypothetical game we were talking about. Vegas pundits say all sorts of stupid shit for games nobody is going to play.

The Iowa NDSU point spread favored Iowa by 14 for example in 2016

There are always multiple reasons for decision . The world isn't binary.

The biggest reason is we aren't going to give a rival a competitive advantage. Another big reason is Elite programs like UCF don't lower themselves to 2 for 1s.

True but Iowa was a top 15 team and the game was at Iowa . Vegas spreads are based on neutral site games . Ndsu would basically be seen as a top 35-40 type team most years

That is useless though. Even worse than thinking NDSU is FBS caliber is making some line on a fictitious game with a complete fictional scenario where they would be playing a neutral site game.

That's how oddsmaking works . Like it or not NDSU is considered a top 40 program currently and if you value on field results I think they've won 6 or 7 straight vs fbs teams . Of course most FCS programs aren't NDSU but it's disingenuous to think the top 5 programs in FCS are worse than most every G5 and some P5 especially on a one game basis
