I dont ever bag on Zeke. I also wouldnt put Dak in the top ten to be MVP either. he is not selfish. the team plays ball control. So none of this bothers me at all.

My question to you is. If the Eagles decided to start running more & follow the same concept (it is a copy cat league) & Wentz stats goes down. Does that make him a lesser QB then? or is he the same quality just in a different offense?

I think that's probably the best way to approach this. From what I've read on here, Cowboys fans aren't saying Dak is an MVP. Just that he has accomplished some good things considering what his expectations were. I think Dak is improving and this next season will be a better evaluator of where his development as a passer is. It often takes some of these guys 3 years to truly see what you have. Same can be said for Goff and Wentz. Goff needs to show us something this year after some struggles late last season and in the SB when he couldn't rely on Gurley. And Wentz has to prove he's durable enough.
Honestly, a lot of the Dak comments could be said of a young Wilson. The team strategy was always run heavy and so be it. Everybody acknowledges that RW is a good QB but he's not going to be some 5000 yd, 50 TD guy. But he will get the job done and put a W up more often than not and that's what really matters.

As for that list, I can't disagree much with the top 5. Those are all likely candidates. I do think he's wrong about Seattle missing the playoffs though but RW really isn't a guy that will put up MVP numbers either so I don't care about that part of it. The team winning is always more important to me.

Rodgers wouldn't even make my top 10. GB is unlikely to make the playoffs and Rodgers , while still very good , has regressed a bit the last few years . Add that to his injury concerns and his teams lack of weapons I think there are much better candidates

It is a copy cat league but a lot of people think Dallas is copying a playing style from years ago that doesn’t work. I also think a lot of people feel Dallasnruns this antiquated system is because Zeke is fantastic and Dak doesn’t have the ability to be a big time passer.

Nope and I’m really hoping that happens. Philly desperately needs the RB from PSU to be a force. There are some great backs in our division and Philly is way behind in that department.
