well he was the starter.
We didnt bring in an heir apparent so I think (hope) the goal is for someone to come in & take the job from him, not just give it to someone.
Iloka has said he is having learn the position and is working with 1nd team

Cowboys CB Byron Jones (hip) expects to be ready for training camp.
Jones was held out of OTAs after hip surgery. The Cowboys are moving him slowly, but it sounds like he'll avoid active/PUP to start camp. Coming off a dominant first full season at corner and entering a contract year, Jones is in line for an extension if he can stay healthy.

I can't wait to find out if Jones is the guy that was the best CB in Football for the first half of the year or a guy that is an OK starter like he was the last month of the year. I suspect it's likely somewhere in the middle.

I am looking forward to seeing the draft picks, I think chances are good that 4 or even 5 make the roster. Pollard is going to be a stud. He is a major upgrade at the backup RB position

Nice read. Thanks for posting. I know it's meaningless until pads come on, but i still like to read it
I really hope there is some legitimacy to the WRs they talked about.
If Cooper stays playing like a #1
This unknown quick guy keeps growing & Cobb plays like they are gloating about & Gallup just keeps improving. The passing game just might get dangerous.

Randall Cobb has looked good in the OTA's.

yeah that is what I have been reading.
& seems to be on the same page as Dak which could lead to some good yards after catch.

I like Gregory as a football player. The NFL needs to get with the times and just relax on the weed policy. Gregory bring max effort on the field. I like what we have at DE without Gregory. But him backing up Quinn would be good. Those two draft picks can play. QBs are going to take a beating from the Cowboys DL. Dorance Armstrong is going to get some sacks as well.

bottom line on Zeke is he has no leverage if he does not report by 8-6-19 he is still on his 3rd year deal in time toward FA. if the numbers are fair sign him if not let him hold out. with the new CBA coming new contracts are way more complicated. I understand his reasons but blame the NFLPA for piss poor terms for the players. with that said I don't want to see football like basketball freeagency either.
Somebody should explain all this to zeke you can take a little less and play for the Cowboys the #1 marquee team in the NFL for Football now and Business opportunities after or go get your $$ elsewhere and roll the dice.
