Up till this year I always waited on TE, but there is such a drop off after the top 3 that I've decided it's worth drafting them early. We'll see if that pans out or not.

But in a deep ass league the drop off is there for everyone too. And most flexes are going to be bad too.

The deeper the league the less important a position scarcity is when that position is the worst position on the field.

Forget the position and look at his scoring stat against the field.

He was 38 in scoring PPR, that's including QBs by the way. WRs and even RBs are always moving up and down year to year except the elite drafted round 1 in a 16 team league.
Feel the top 3 TEs are stable year to year in comparison to another position you may draft in the second or third round.
Just a theory and I'm going to test it. In any case think it is easier to find a impact Rb or even WR in the following rookie drafts then a tight end like the top 3.

That's some backwards logic. Deeper the league, the more important position scarcity becomes. That's just simple math, simple supply demand, no amount of rationalization can explain that away

Draft is going to on hold for a good while as next team up is on a 16 hour work shift and can't be on line.

Some of these dudes really like their rookies. Even in a weak class many are going before solid, proven vets, and not all of those vets are "old". Something to make a note of in trade negotiations for future picks

Yeah, there always are some that just "love" rookies. Be interesting to see how the trading goes. I only know about a quarter of the owners, the ones I know are active traders.

Well I'm confident he'll get the lions share of targets this year and he does score a lot of TDs. Talk is they are going to move him around, all the better for favorable match ups. The other veteran WRs are jag and the rookies are raw and need work learning routes. I see a big year ahead for Lockett, career year. Just IMO Joe for what it's worth.

I was very close to taking him with one of my last 2 picks only took the 2 i did because they're younger. Pretty good chance Lockett has a better PPR season than last year with him playing from the slot this year(His natural position imo)

I'm down with this as well; but you know I've been on the Lockett bandwagon for quite awhile. If there really is such a thing as the stars aligning for someone, this is it. :)

I should of had my coffee before picking because looks like I could have wait one more pick for that QB since 3 of the next 4 already have a QB.

And the other one is Jimbo, who had nothing but RB's, QB should be far from his radar. :)

I rushed because I was OTC for a while (sleeping) Oh well, got RW and that's not a bad thing, gives me a stack.

Now my next pick is coming up...suggestion? My first thought is take a RB.
Howard, Harris, McCoy (scared he'll get cut),Foreman,Duke, Ito, Ekeler.

Think Howard would have the most immediate value , Harris the most potential or ceiling. However I'm a bit leary of Brady retiring soon ( as in a year) and the whole team collapsing.
