Nice that you can speak for ALL eagles fans.

Btw... fans sure are turning on McNabb today but they also booed him when he was drafted.

#classy

Im not speaking for all Eagles fans he was. Stores weren’t posting signs saying “Get out losers” all over the city after we finally made the SB. Look at all the other shit he posted about Philly and you’re going to believe that nonsense. Jaws, Vermiel, Montgomery, Bergey were fucking adored.

In fairness, he lumped all Eagles fans together when it was 5 drunk fans at the draft. Lots of fans loved Mcnabb but now think he's a jackass.

Not every fan is like you. Some fans do get pissed off when they thought their team should have won the SB but lost. I have no idea where in the city he was and neither do you so maybe he did see a sign or two. Philly fans turn on their team quickly when things go south.

Dude we were soooo proud of that team and love our teams. We were so so bad throughout the 70s and we finally make the SB and we then turn on them??? Stupid. Never happened.
Plus you don't get a nickname like Jaws by throwing up during a SB...

The Amount is market value. So that part was a good signing by the eagles.
The risk isnt the amount. It is the fact almost the whole thing is guaranteed. If he plays out the contract it is a good deal. if he is injured for the 1st couple years it will be costly. As by the time he gets to the latter part of his contract he will want more money & the Eagles window would have shut. But if he stays healthy for say 3 of the 4 years & lives up to potential. The Eagles would have won on these contract negotiations. That is why they call it risk reward I guess. The only risk is the guaranteed money though. Not the amount of the contract as a lot of people want to talk about. That part I believe the Eagles did excellent in.

I’m enjoying the sheer comedic stupidity of it. Yeah, your team goes to the playoffs. Beat the great Dallas Cowboys teams from back then and go to the SB and stores all over the city posted signs, “Get out of Philly you losers”. Suuuuuuure. I’m sure they did the same the in Boston when they lost the SB too.

You are talking about a city where they have to grease the poles when they do win (every 50 years)

City of Philadelphia is greasing light poles in case the Eagles win NFC Championship game

Forgotten. Funny. Wentz had almost as many yards and more TDs in 3/4 of a season then Dak had ALL season. Nice try though.
Tried to make it sound like Dak and Wentz had comparable numbers 3/4 of the way.

Not comparable at all in the "ability to stay on the field" category. Dak has that hands down. Call it the 'brittle bitch" stat.

Holding the clipboard during the playoffs is a vastly underrated function.

Finally, something we can all agree on when saying...

Wentz > Dak.

Quite possibly more important than center

Experience factor is a big edge in this one. Stupid Dak is always playing in the playoff games and doesn't understand the value of watching from the sideline.

Imagine how great Wentz will be once he actually plays in a playoff game!! I mean all that experience watching them HAS to pay off.

Its all part of the long term process for building a super QB

Good point. All the other good young QBs are wasting time playing in the games. Can’t get the full perspective that comes from standing on the sidelines in street clothes that way.
