As I said earlier I would love to have him to see what he could do but if Collins is as good of an in the box safety as we are paying him for this is not a HUGE loss.

This is an excellent analysis of the situation concerning Foster before the injury and post injury as well as the position responsibilities etc. As I had stated Foster offered hope, not guarantees. He was far from a proven player. As coach said in his post yesterday "next man up"

Nah - my bad - not really replying to you. Just basically trying to say that this is part of the game & having a real issue with folks implying that it is now a given that there will be a rash of other injuries based on past history. Also having a hard time buying the fact that this was caused by some bad decision by either the Redskins or Foster. Injuries happen in football & no matter what you do a lot of them are unavoidable.

good piece here . i think they should go through OTAS and see what they have . if they need to make a move then do it

it was an ACL , . there are unconfirmed reports of more damage but either they were fixed , or it wasnt as bad or maybe both

it said successful surgery so hopefully that is it

Reuben Foster tears LCL in addition to ACL, undergoes successful surgery

ok the latest and greatest on foster is torn ACL and LCL . apparently no artery damage or nerve damage . he should be ready to go next year
