Time for conference championships to matter more.

16 team playoff; 10 conference champions + 6 at large. Alabama would have been an at large bid in the 2011 season.

With no conference championship, ND still can get an at large berth.

No. Extremely too many teams, completely de-emphasizes the regular season and encourages weaker schedules.

The problem is, the playoff format rewards playing no one in out of conference scheduling. A lot of these games were schedules in the early stages of the playoff where it was thought that SOS would be a greater consideration than it currently is.

1 extra game a year, oh man, dont put yourselves out too much. Of course, the majority of the conference members in those conferences are cupcakes themselves, so why not.

My coach is on record wanting a nine game in conference schedule, but you knew this already. He is also on record stating he would not mind an only P5 playing P5 teams deal. Yet again, you knew that. Until the whole system changes, no changes will be made at our University strictly to suit whiners. You can bank on that last one.

38 years.
Played 11 times.
6-5 in favor of Alabama.

Alabama vs Georgia 1980-2018

It's nothing new in the SEC.

I'm happy with OSU's typical schedule (this year is a little messed up). 1 bigger named school and usually one MAC team. The third game usually ranges from a patsy, low tier P5 team, or an "ok" G5.

That's great to hear, is this where I say how has that worked out for them??? Or should I just say, so what? Each year you state this, talk about how great UW is with their scheduling and how competitive they are, then they lose games they shouldn't, you are then brought back down to earth for a day or two and then you proceed with the same topics as last year.
