Even if they win they get a misdemeanor conviction and look like fools in the process...
1) Their original pretext was chasing human trafficking and that has been proven to be baseless
2) Their traffic stops look baseless too
3) Their surveillance looks more like a peeping-tom adventure than an evidence gathering exercise
The invasion of privacy act is more egregious than the solicitation. Seriously, I know this isn't an easy question, who's the bigger creep?... The peeping-tom or the guy paying for a happy ending in a strip mall?
