I hope this is the end of them trying to bring former Steeler players back to coach.
It's never worked out.
Joey was great on the field, but his body of work through his playing career in no way ever suggested to me he could be a good coach. He never had the intelligence or temperament. He was a shit kicker.

I was hoping that they would hire Alan Faneca to be an assistant O-line coach after spending the previous couple seasons doing a coaching internship gig at Latrobe. Thought for sure he'd get the job that Adrian Klemm now holds. Still not exactly sure why that didn't happen. Last I heard Faneca was still trying to get his feet wet in the coaching world.

I'm willing to bet Faneca can't be controlled like the other puppets Tomlin surrounds himself with......
Which would make him a big no for Tomlin's staff. I'm sure sooner rather than later a real coaching staff will see his talent and hire him.
