Also, Steph now holds record for most points scored by one player in a 4 game sweep, I think 146

A couple more than the ones he passed: Shaq, LeBron, Kobe (all first-namers in this post)

I am too high to try to figure out why you put quotation marks in there lol

To see who'd notice....+/or make a fuss about it.....lol

Of course they were legendary...but on the other hand, there wasn't much competition for them back then except for maybe 2 or 3 teams. (Wilt's Phila. Warriors, the St. Louis Hawks & the Minn./LA Lakers)
Red Auerbach really had it made.

That play where Dame broke McKinnie's ankles though, that was for real

I’m sure Zo doesn’t care about that at this point. He’s on his way to the NBA finals..and Dame isn’t. Besides...Dame has done that to a few other players in the past...even some high profile ones.

Depends on what he costs. I can't think of a team right now that would be willing to give a big chunk a change for him. He operates really good in space and plays good perimeter defense when he's hung out there but a lot of that has to do with the system. I'm not discrediting what he's done because he's a really good fit for it but who else runs an offense or defense like the W's do? Everyone talks about the players and Green/Klay/Curry are an insane core but if at this point Kerr hasn't proven himself as an all time great coach then I don't know what else he needs to do.

Steve Kerr said that Looney has become a foundational piece. This seems to indicate that the Warriors plan on keeping him.

Killing Dame or Portland tonight is so silly.

This team was supposed to be out in round 1 without Nurk. Probably can't find 10 people who are not blazers fans/writers who predicted them to get out of round 1.Fact is they made it to the WCF with only 1 top 20 player and missing their 3rd best player. Hell of a season.

And to add on to that, this wasn't an embarrassing sweep. Outside of the final 5 or 6 minutes of the 4th in game 1, this was a very competitive series

ESPN showed a graphic that the Blazers led for 51% of the series. You're right though, they're lacking quality production from the SF/PF position on the team. They need to let Aminu go.

You have 3 all-stars in your lineup. Banged up or not, that's hard as fuck to beat regardless. No one is going to paint the Warriors as an underdog no matter how hard anyone tries. They were always the favorite.

Seriously. Golden State was down 2 all stars, and only had 3 left.......

This is just stupid.

Wasn't a easy sweep at all. Very very competitive actually.

This once again shows that shorter series can be more fun that series that last more games.

For example this was much more fun than that Bucks/Celtics series that lasted 1 game longer

So Portland who makes it to the Western Conference finals can't even win a game at home when GS is without 3 all stars? Lol the Nba is broken. Football can't get here soon enough.

The nba is fine.

Maybe if your team beat Portland as they were expected, we get a longer conference finals

Green has one more year before he gets paid. They can afford to keep the band together one more year, but that's it. If KD does stay will it be for a long term deal? Doubt it.

The $100 million dollar luxury tax penalty for next year would be WITHOUT giving Green the new deal and only re-signing Thompson to a max deal and re-signing Durant.

It’d go up to a $150 million luxury tax penalty next year when they’d have to give Green his big deal.

So if GSW’s owner is willing to pay $100 million luxury tax penalty next year — they could keep them together one more year. Next year after that would be $150 million penalty. After that — the tax penalties would be crazy as you get into the double penalties, so forget any thought of re-signing all of them:pound:

Nobody is going to a place that has nobody.

I mean, yea they had Kyrie, but that was good for 33 wins the year before. And Kevin Love is OK.

I mean, nothing of the magnitude of the 2nd best player in the league going to the team that broke the record for most wins in history.

Seriously though, it just depends what kind of fan you are.

I like seeing competition. I like underdogs. I like inspirational stories. Other people just want to see their team crush every team in their path.

I was the person who called BS when the original Dream Team came out. Who the hell wants to see the USA crush every country by 55 points. With the college kids, you had some damn good games, and they could still have won for another 10 years or so before prep to pros.

Did you really just say, Kevin Love was OK?!? He averaged 26 ppg, 13 rebounds and 4.5 assists, in the year before he was traded to Cleveland.

You must be a Cleveland fan if you are trying to justify what LeBron did, not once, but twice.

Portland was the 3 seed and the favorite to win and they did.

They were not the favorite at all.

This is a lie

Everyone and their momma (including blazers fans) expected OKC to win.

Not only did your shitty team not win but they only won 1 game lmaooo

Yep they led for most of the series and they get swept. That is awful lol. It wasn't for 2nd half meltdowns we could see a 3-1, 2-2 series. I will admit the W's ramped up their defense but even when they had opportunities they choked.
They do need more depth at Aminu, Harkless and Turner make $35M combined. Aminu comes off the books but both Turner and Harkless have another year, looks like all guaranteed too. Hood is probably gone, but if there is one guy they should re-sign it should be Hood.
