Olshey LOVES Aminu. I could see Aminu getting a deal close to Lillard's. Clear staple point in this franchise moving forward.

Aminu isn't bad but dude isn't a starter. Bench player who should get 15-20 minutes per night. I like Harkless more.

I like Harkless more too. And yes, Aminu is a bench player on any other team in this league. But Olshey's got the dude as a starter for Portland. Aminu could be a really solid role player off the bench on a good NBA team, but he isn't starter status. He's been a starter in Portland for years.

Oh I Don't know about that, you insert the Grizzlies into anything and my brain starts to immediately released melatonin. For whatever reason the Grizzlies are one franchise that just take the air out of entertaining basketball.
I forget they exist until someone mentions them.

How much of the Blazers struggles in the 2nd half of these games are mental/physical fatigue? This is the deepest run they've ever made and on top of that had a really tough 7 game series with the Nuggets?

The Warriors experience, more so than their actual play, I think has been the edge so far. Warriors are phased by anything at this point. They've taken parts in huge blow outs. They've been on the receiving end of the worst collapse in NBA history. They've also been a part of a comeback in a 3-1 series (against the Thunder with Westbrook and KD).

I can't stress enough the the importance though of a guy like Andre Iguodala, who @WiggyRuss has said for the past 3 years was dogshit (paraphrasing).

Kevon Looney though has been amazing. Dude needs to be paid and hopefully it'll be by the Warriors. Again still unfathomable how no team in the NBA offered him more than 1.5M a year last year after he showed he was capable of being a good defender against the Rockets. His offense has improved dramatically too and he's really an incredible finisher around the hoop. He had a crafty little lefty hook and has an array of pump fakes around the rim to create space. He's shooting 71.9% from the field and 78.2% from the line. He's been incredible on defense and his offense has been a big plus.
Bruins baby.

Kerr: "Durant's injury is a little more serious than we originally thought....." Uh huh, sure, Steve. We are getting closer to "discovering" what we all knew, that this is an Achilles injury.

Dude

It isn't Achilles.

Calf strains take weeks to heal, not days.

Yes and no.

It is a decent matchup, but it also allows Steph to guard somebody other than McCollum.

For that reason, I think the Blazers should force the size issue with more Hood than Curry.

Slowing Curry is more important than taking advantage of him defensively, IMHO.

C'mon man!!

Are you seriously going to take the diagnosis provided by the Warriors team doctors over Dr. @Montalban diagnosis? Seriously?!?

You realize that he has replayed that play and the subsequent walk to the locker room many times with his dvr before he made his diagnosis, don't you?

What? You don't think that the doctors who examined KD are willing to damage their reputation in order to help the Warriors with pointless gamesmanship? The MRI must've been blurry.
Well there is always this, "In their past 30 games in which Curry plays and Durant doesn’t, the Warriors are 29-1".
