another pathetic end to a season in which we were promised so much more

in the end they played all of one game more then last season even after all the changes

welp that's game and series

I don't like Brett Brown's game plan and maybe he is out after this series loss but who is out there as far as coaching candidates? And please no mention of Tyronn Lue

Embiid came up small in this series - I know he was sick but he didn't seem to be as assertive out on the court that he should have been
Also someone ban him from taking 3-point shots
Maybe that's on Brown as well - I hate seeing Embiid out at the 3-point line

Simmons - well I actually liked what I saw out of Simmons for the most part in the sense that he played with energy and urgency a lot of times out there - more Sixers needed to do that
Simmons needs a mid range shot obviously
While i think Simmons is an adequate point forward/playmaker/whatever a true PG on the team would have helped with Simmons complementing that PG

As far as free agents
If the choice is between Harris and Butler I'm taking Butler
If the choice is between Leonard and Butler I'm taking Leonard
Redick - good luck on your next team

I'm just frustrated rambling here

the 2 biggest issues continue to be their belief that Ben Simmons is a point guard, and Brett Brown is a horrifically bad game coach

theres a reason why this team continues to lose countless 1 possession games and will continue to do so unless big changes are made and it all starts with Brown and Simmons

It's Ben's fault that Brett has to put Embiid on the 3 point line because Ben can't shoot a fucking lick.

You need 4 shooters in this league and our PG can't fucking shoot it so our center has to.

It's a God Damn disgrace. How do you choose basketball as your sport if you can't fucking shoot!!!!!!

who knows what moving parts they end up keeping, they lost a 7 game series with their best player being essentially a large portion with no backup, that ain't on the coach. the 3 possessions in a row in game 7 at the end where they didn't do shit on offense could be put on him to an extent, but overall, this is a cat the most talented grew with and the new vets came into and had nothing but respect to put on his name, so let's stop talking shit on brett.

let's also stop talking shit on the players. a finals mvp ended the series on a shot that had more bounces than the free throw to end the original teen wolf, yeah, they had their shots and they missed, but it's not like they were playing some shit team. the process was interrupted by league input before, don't let it be muddied further now.
