When time permits check out the tape on Hakeen Butler WR Iowa State 6' 6" 225 great catch radius, good route runner, picks the ball out of the air. Projected 3rd pick with our plethora of pick he may be worth a look.

I love him. Been high on him this last year. My favorite wr in the draft.

I’ve seen mock drafts with him going late first to the third round.

Where did you hear Gordon had a 10 game suspension?

I'd not seen that before. Just indefinite.

Tom E. Curran, NBC Boston Sports.

He said if he was allowed back in 2019 he would not be back until week 10. He was pretty positive that he would be back and be a huge difference in the Pats offense.

This was immediately after BB put the 2nd Round Tender on him

OK.

I think it could be sooner is Rog the Fuckwit gives his blessing.

The infraction this time was a diluted sample.

Meaning he drank too much water.

He looks good. Tall, long arms and big hands. Not a burner, but makes contested catches and fights for yards after.
He would keep defenses honest so Edelman/Gronk/White can do their damage underneath and Michel can bust out a few big runs as well.
Yes, he would balance out the offense nicely.

I don't expect much of anything to get done until late next week. The Owners Meeting starts Wednesday night and runs into next Saturday. GMs and Coaches are all there, and the ground work for the draft and trades that will happen are made while the media and cameras are focuseo the billionaires.

BB, Caserio, Scar, Josh and most of the staff have been attending different Pro Days. BB was at Alabama and Georgia. Caserio was at Will Grier's workout which actually got some ESPN air time:

[OC] What to expect from Dontrelle Inman in New England Patriots offense

Inman’s most impressive trait is easily his route running. The Virginia product has quick feet and is capable of creating enough separation with his plus acceleration. He also has good hands, as Player Profiler credited him with just one drop throughout the 2018 season. He’s a good receiver when he’s at his best and he saved his best football for the final stretch of 2018. The first-year Colt caught all eight of his postseason targets for 108 yards and one touchdown, good for an 80.5 grade from Pro Football Focus.

Can't keep 10 WRs so BB will find some way to keep the best even if they have to pay them to be on the IR. From being a point of weakness back in March, it seems to be a very solid position for Brady to work with. Bill could keep 6 on the 53 man roster as long as that 6th guy can play ST.

Liked what I saw of him with the Skins...good hands, good routes, think he’ll fit the offense well...reminds me a little of Jabar Gaffney. Think Brady will love throwing to him.

I always thought the Pats could have gotten more out of Gaffney. I remember the 2005 AFCCG when he bailed out Bug-eye Caldwell (usuallyl I butcher Recce into Ricochet) after an awful drop with an amazing back of the end-zone catch. Later in the game Ricochet dropped another wide-open blown coverage pass arguably leading to that loss.

Why am I posting this? I'm still not over it.

I have no idea why Jakobi Meyers did not get drafted.
He makes the team or will not clear waivers.....

This fucking play in this fucking game is tops when it comes to Pats heartbreaks IMO. Old bug eyes catches that ball and we're very very likely in the Super Bowl. No way the AFC was losing the Super Bowl that year regardless of which team got in. We should've been hoisting banner number 7 this year but bug eyes dropped it.

Mike Reiss ESPN Staff Writer

The Patriots officially announced the signings of WR Dontrelle Inman and OT Jared Veldheer on Monday. To make room on the 90-man roster, the club has released undrafted free agents Calvin Anderson (OL) and Xavier Ubosi (WR). Both Anderson and Ubosi were longshots to stick on the roster
