I sure hope this is true.... we REALLY need those mid round picks from last year to work. I wouldn't mind us picking a C/G this year, but if Kromer feels like it isn't necessary, we have a real chance to make our D-line even stronger....

I guess the Rams haven't completely given up on Countess if he clears waivers, according to Rapoport. But with the additions of Weddle and the drafting of Taylor Rapp and of course Johnson the starter I think we can lose him and be ok.

I mean i can't really fault a guy for taking less money....especially when the contracts aren't really guaranteed anyway. Wish him the best but we didn't need him anyway. John Johnson is steller, Eric weddle is a high IQ vet who will teach the young Rapp how to play at this level so 3/4 good safeties aren't bad. Talib, Peters, Robey-Coleman, Long should make a well rounded secondary only if Peters' get over his mental lapses.

Yep Josh Carraway may be another Fowler and we are now pretty set for Edge. If you want to jack around with money issues, you ain't gonna be on this team especially when you are down a ways on the depth chart, dumbass. Moving Countess out the door is a no-brainer because we now have way better talent from the draft by far. He may be brought back later if he clears waivers and he will because nobody is going to rush out and sign this guy.

Same goes for Darrell Williams. A camp tackle who spent all of last year on the Forty-Whiners' and our PS and whose contribution value has been surpassed by two good young studs we drafted in this last draft at OT.

Now that we drafted Nick Scott, that little useless turd Natson maybe out the door because Scott returned punts and KOs on a regular basis at Penn State along with being a CB. He 's an upgrade over Natson.

As I have been clamoring for sometime, here are 6 remaining FAs the Rams should bring in per the article from the Ramswire:

Center Ryan Groy. We tried to trade for this guy in Booofalo when the drama queen was still around. He is primarily a back-up now but still a good player and if we have trouble with Allen or Blythe at Center, I'd bring him in in a heartbeat.

NT Danny Shelton. Enough stated already. He would be a def upgrade and a mentor for Gaines and he destroyed our inside running game nearly single handedly in the Snooper Bowl. I'd be on the phone right now with this guy's agent.

OLB Shane Ray: Knows Phillips system as he played it in Denver where he was last employed. He is a pretty good linebacker too.

ILB Zach Brown: Maybe a reach but worth a look-see.

OLB Nick Perry: A reach here because the guy can't stay healthy but he played with Matthews in Green Bay and would be a good value addition.

OLB Jamie Collins: This guy has been labeled a bust for all the money he commands. Still might be worth a look-see even though he has attitude problems.

Groy, Ray, and Shelton are all still available and so is Suh. I wonder if the latter wants to return to the Rams but has to wait until cap space opens up. He so thoroughly enjoyed his Rams tenure, I can't believe he'd sell his soul to play for the SeaHags.
